General
- Among the Estérel mountains near the French Riviera
- Three kilometres from the beaches of Agay, Saint-Raphaël and Fréjus
- Waterpark, five pools, restaurant, bar and boutique
Cor, this is some splendid scenery... Esterel Camping in the Provence is in a spectacular setting among the highly handsome Esterel mountain range, in a pine forest with viewsome vistas all around – before you read any further, you might want to have a click through the site pics.
As if the scenery wasn't topping enough, Esterel is also only three kilometres from the splendid sandy beaches and clear waters of Agay, Saint-Raphaël and nearby Fréjus on the French Riviera. And as it's between sea and mountain, those into sports and outdoors activities will be sorted here too.
The Esterel owners pride themselves on their high standards and wide range of facilities: five outdoor pools (two heated), a restaurant, a snack bar with takeaway meals, a bar, a grocery shop and a boutique.
A waterpark was added in 2016 with an aquatic play area for kids and various slides for all ages.

To the French Riviera… the bay at Agay is one of the most spectacular harbours on the French Riviera and goes from Cap Dramont to the Pointe of Baumette. Agay's harbour, the natural gateway to the Esterel mountains, has three sandy beaches and access to the sea through its rocks.
Agay village is also a much visited location and has shops, beachside hamlets and a small church near the port. A market just across from the beach is held every Wednesday. More actively, this part of coast is popular for many watersports activities including waterskiing, windsurfing and jetskiing.
More fine sands are at the seaside resort of Fréjus, where the main beach merges into that of the swish coastal resort of Saint Raphael. Fréjus is also known for its well-preserved Roman remains as it was once an important Roman port: top sights to see include the amphitheatre, the aqueduct and the theatre, along with many more remnants in the Old Town.
Exploring inland, hire a buggy to roam around the Esterel mountains.
