Camping Les Cigales is a family-friendly site set between a lake and a river in the Hautes-Alpes department, between Laragne and Serres. There are heaps of outdoor activities available nearby, such as hang gliding, paragliding, climbing, Via Ferrata and canyoning. This area gets 300 days of sunshine a year, so pitches are spacious and well shaded; facilities at the park include a 27-metre outdoor pool, a paddling pool, a bar, an eatery serving snacks and pizzas in the evening, a multi-sports field, a trampoline, beach volleyball and a billiards table. During July and August you've also got kids' activities and fresh bread delivery. Free wifi is available to guests. There's a grocery store and butcher shop around a kilometre from Camping Les Cigales, with more supermarkets seven kilometres away.

Local attractions

Nearby there are four lakes and six rivers, and you're surrounded by marked hiking, mountain biking and horse riding trails. Camping Les Cigales has private access to the river and is around a kilometre from Riou lake, where you'll find beaches, barbecues, pedalos, canoes and inflatable toys and floats. Six kilometres away you've got the watersports centre of Germanette, which also has bathing areas and a fishing lake. You'll find world-class climbing routes around 10 kilometres away at Orpierre, and if you're willing to travel around 40 kilometres, there are some excellent Via Ferrata a little further away at Grand Fistoire. There's also a hang gliding and paragliding club in Laragne-Montéglin, and Via Ferrata, canyoning, rafting and swimming at both Germanette and Méouge Gorge (14km).
