Cannes you see yourself having a reely topping time celeb-spotting and beach basking on the French Riviera? You'll likely like Parc Bellevue if so, as it's set a couple of kilometres from the beach and eight from the famed and glitzy Promenade de la Croisette in Cannes, the two-kilometre strip alongside the beach on which celebs famously tread: you could bring along a camera and pretend to be paparazzi…? In between gently stalking the rich and famous, sink into gentle days on site among the Parc Bellevue facilities including a big swimming pool and a Jacuzzi (a paddling pool is to hand for tiddlers too). A playground, pétanque court, ping pong tables and a volleyball court will sort out the more energetic. Sit-in eats and takeaways are covered at the site restaurant; if you'd rather cater for yourself, the Bellevue grocery shop sells bread, pastries and other essentials. Parc Bellevue also has a modern amenities block, a launderette, a TV room and free wifi.

Local attractions

Cannes first of course: the world-famed Boulevard de la Croisette of Cannes is about eight kilometres from Parc Bellevue, so make strolling here a first step before a wander along its long stretch of beach. (Plenty of swish shops line the Croisette too if you have a large pile of money to spare.) If you're on hol with the kids who don't much fancy doing that, take them along to French Riviera theme park and world's first oceanarium Marineland (30 minutes' drive), home to marine critters, various zones and interactive activities. The nearby Lérins Islands, the Mediterranean islands off the coast of Cannes, are another splendid spot to visit in the area and are home to more fab beaches, a fortified monastery and the cell of the Man in the Iron Mask at the biggest island, Île Sainte-Marguerite. Two of the the islands are uninhabited; to reach the other two, regular boat trips to Sainte-Marguerite and Île St Honorat run from the harbour at Cannes (both are much recommended). For a scenic city (and shopping?) day trip, Nice is 45 minutes' drive away.

Liked Posto fantastico, piscine bellissime e molto curate, animazione molto coinvolgente.
Molto ben collegato con il mare, raggiungibile sia con la navetta in pochi minuti che in bicicletta, soluzione adatta anche ai più piccoli essendo tutta pista ciclabile.

Liked Close to Cannes and the beautiful bay. Decent size pitches. Kids loved the water slides and good size pool. Helpful and welcoming staff.

Disliked Noisy at night as close to main road. Some of the facilities looked a little tired. Quite pricey (but then expected for Cannes)

Liked Camping molto confortevole. Spazi idonei. E personale accogliente e disponibile sempre. Ambiente sicuro e sensazione di relax. Se dovessi consigliarlo o ritornarci lo farei con piacere. Idoneo per famiglie!!

Disliked Ho fatto notare al personale che i cartelli esposti all’interno del campeggio non contengono sufficienti informazioni per capire dove siano posti i servizi forniti ( 2 sole lavatrici per tutto il campeggio e solo all’ingresso). Non ci sono prese elettriche ai bagni (zona docce). Non esiste una vera zona di scarico acque grigie e carico acque chiare. In ogni caso il personale è stato tutto disponibilissimo.

Liked Loved the location as we were travelling to Cannes each day by bus, which the staff helped us to locate. The site was located in a lovely place, and the staff were very helpful with the pitch size we needed and its location.

Liked Lovely warm welcome from the reception team.
Clean services such as toilets and shower areas as well as sinks for cleaning dishes etc.
Food from the kitchen was tasty and plentyful. All priced very well.
The animation team and the varied entertainment for the children and families.
The pitches were a good size.
The site was very clean.

Disliked The rules around the pool area were quite restrictive. If you simply wanted to get a drink you had to leave your sun beds and go to the cafe area and drink them there. It sounds like something silly to complain about but rounding up kids from the pool in order to simply go for an ice cream etc was quite tiresome. (On one occasion one of our sunbeds was taken as we sat in the cafe!)
The shop was quite limited.
