Heading for the Côte d’Azur, but hoping to avoid the crush right down on the coast? Get ahead of the crowd and book your billet at Camping Le Val Fleuri, tucked into a green Alpes-Maritime hillside 10 minutes’ drive from the Riviera town of Cagnes-sur-Mer. Spread over two hectares of lushly landscaped parkland, the campsite is shaded from the summer sun by mature trees. You can top up your tan on the swimming pool’s sundeck – with gorgeous hill views all around – and then relax with a drink and a good book on the cool sofas at the tiny air-conditioned bar-boutique during the day. The shop sells useful products for the beach and everyday life, as well as local products and souvenirs. If you’re keen to get out discovering Côte d’Azur beaches and glamorous coastal resorts, reception staff are on hand to advise you on where to go and what to see. And as far as practicalities go, modern shower blocks (with disabled access) are a reliable source of hot water, and there’s a laundry room with a washing machine so you can keep on top of housework.

Liked We had an amazing stay at this campsite! Our campsite was spacious, with plenty of shade and privacy. The bathrooms and showers were very clean, and we noticed staff regularly checking and maintaining the grounds.
One of the highlights for us was the swimming pool — clean, well-maintained, and a great way to cool off in the afternoons. There were lounge chairs and shaded spots around the pool, making it a comfortable space for both adults and kids to enjoy.

Disliked The only downside was some occasional street noise from a nearby road, especially in the early morning or late at night. It wasn’t overwhelming, but it’s something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper or camping in a tent.

Liked We stayed here for 4 days.
We travelled into nice from here on bikes was about 3mile, bolt was £10 so was handy to use as a base for nice.

Disliked Pitches are quite close to the road so if your a light sleeper it can be loud in a morning/evening.

The pool closed at 7pm, there was still a handful of people in the pool and we were ushered out of the pool then at midnight/if not later a group of people out of the house all dived and we're playing in the pool keeping everyone awake.

Facilities don't supply toilet roll, but seems am ongoing thing with french campsites we've noticed..

Liked Cleanliness of the pool area and modern shower blocks. Nice shaded pitches. Picked this site as a central location for cycling and exploring the coastline. Cycle routes through the towns are great

Disliked Mosquitoes!!! Plagued by them on our pitch under a tree so sadly couldn’t sit outside without being constantly bitten!

Liked Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans ce camping ! L’accueil était chaleureux dès notre arrivée, le personnel toujours souriant et disponible. Les emplacements sont spacieux et bien entretenus. Les installations (piscine, sanitaires, espaces communs) sont propres. La situation est idéale : proche de la mer et des sites à visiter, tout en restant calme et reposant. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons vivement ce camping.

Liked De plaatsen; niet groot, maar wel lekker veel schaduw.
Rustige camping.
Je kon iedere dag vers brood bestellen.

Disliked SANITAIR! Gemengde toiletten en douches, maar wat veel erger was, er werd nauwelijks of heel slecht schoongemaakt. (Viezigheid werd dagen lang niet opgeruimd! En ja… jammer dat mensen viezigheid achterlaten!) Smerig! 🤢
Geen vuilnisbakken bij het sanitairgebouw!
ZWEMBAD! Zwembadwater was heel troebel en zag er vies uit! 🤢
Receptie gesloten tussen 12.00 en 15.00 uur, wat zeker in het hoogseizoen niet handig is!

Liked Schaduw, rust, prachtige plek, schoon sanitair, zwembad, ligbedjes, ijsjes, kleinschalig. Top plek

Disliked Bereikbaarheid. Geen idee of teservering klopte, geen contact mogelijk via telefoon of mail vooraf. Dagenlang niet.
Geen afvalemmers bij afwas. Rare wc brillen, die niet omhoog gaan. En die mannen dan vaak onderplassen?
