Here’s your chance to camp mere steps from a beach. One of the few campsites on the Picardy Coast to have direct access to the sea, Camping Onlycamp Onival has spectacular views over the Bay of the Somme (look out for the seals), 10 minutes’ drive from Woignarue. At this quiet coastal site, pitches are set roughly 30 yards from the water – and light years away from the bustle of everyday life. Once you arrive, take a deep breath of fresh sea air and then get stuck into a multitude of activities. Venture out onto the water to try your hand at canoeing, sailing or yachting, or jump on your bike and be off exploring the Opal Coast. Secure bike storage is provided for your peace of mind. At the end of a busy and fun-filled day, hot showers, washing-up sinks and baby-changing areas are on hand. You won’t need to worry about food, as the snack bar takes care of any munchies, and in high season, there’s a small store selling cold drinks, ice cream and local produce. Disliked L accueil des que nous arrivons nous devons payer la totalité sans même avoir vu les emplacements disponibles résultat camping quasiment plein on arrive à trouvé une toute petite place à-côté d un camping car qui part la suite c'est avéré s être trompé de place d appres un memdre du personnel nous affirment résoudre le problème hors rien de fait il ce sont donc mis dans la poche le double du tarif pour la même place tapage nocturne impossible de dormir la plupart des wc sont hs et non réparé les seuls restant fuient reste que des wc turc pâture ressemblent plus à un camp de gens du voyage qu à un camping manque de sympathie venant des membres du personnel ou l'argent et plus importants que le bien-être des campeurs. From the manager: Bonjour Madame, oui il est impératif de régler votre séjour à l arrivée afin d'éviter les gens qui partent sans payer, nous sommes bien d'accord mais énormément de personne en font leurs quotidien. Nous n avons jamais refusé à un client de visiter le camping avant le paiement. Chaque emplacement mesure entre 80 et 150 m2 ils sont délimités et numérotés afin que chaque client aient son espaces, si ça n a pas était le cas nous en sommes désolés mais vous n' êtes pas venu au bureau pour le signaler. Pour le week-end un agent de sécurité est venu pour faire respecter le silence . Bien que le 14 juillet ne soit pas la période la plus calme pour choisir son séjour. Au niveau de l'accueil vous devez probablement vous tromper de camping il suffit de regarder les avis google les plus récents afin de rassurer notre clientèle d'un accueil chaleureux. certain sanitaires sont effectivement hors service mais cette saison nous avons pu rénover une cinquantaine de wc et 22 douches ( peinture, plomberie, électricité.) Nous avons beaucoup de respect pour nos clients qui règle leurs séjour sachant que l argent sert à payer le ramassage des déchets, l'eau, l'électricité, le gaz, le personnel etc....
Nous sommes conscients que sans nos clients nous ne serions pas là et que sans nous il n'y aurait pas de client. Si vous voulez que votre camping vive et perdure il est important que certaines règles soient respectées. Nous aurions préféré en discuter directement avec vous. plutôt que de laisser un tel avis anonymement même si en interne nous savons qui a laissé ce commentaire.

Liked The sea and nice town

Disliked First night was ok we had lots of space to the second night we was crammed in like sardines and the noise from other campers no respect all so toilets are something to be desired the 1970s called said we would like our toilets back no im small but wonder how someone of size would use them narrow doors no room and most was blocked or covered in excrement and the grass wasn't well maintained bumpy pitch

Liked Blij dat we een camping hadden dadelijk aan zee.

Disliked Het was een totaal verwaarloosde vieze camping.
De plaatsen waren nog ok.

Maar de sanitaire blokken waren niet meer bekeken sinds de jaren 60.
Vieze, vuile merendeels franse wc's.

Local attractions

With direct access to lengthy Onival Beach from the pitches, you can soon be sand yachting, kitesurfing or messing about in dinghies. Try a spot of sea fishing from the shoreline, explore along the coastline on horseback (15 minutes’ drive), or have a peaceful wander along the seafront Sentier du Littoral Baie de Somme. Extend your walk atop the imposing Opal Coast chalk cliffs to the laid-back resort of Ault (half an hour’s walk), stopping off at the Notre-Dame d’Onival chapel (20 minutes) along the way to admire its ornate bell tower topped with gargoyles. The Bay of the Somme is renowned for its colony of harbour seals; you can sometimes spot them basking on the sand at low tide. Best places to see them? Pointe du Hourdel (25 minutes’ drive), Saint-Valery-sur-Somme (20 minutes) and Le Crotoy (35 minutes). Take binoculars to watch their antics, and always keep a respectful distance away. To hear more about local wildlife conservation, tour the interactive Maison de la Baie de Somme (20 minutes).
