Electric grass pitch

Liked: V quiet site (off season) where we could choose our own pitch for campervan.

Disliked: Shower block quite basic with warm but not hot showers.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Great location next to lake, lovely walks right on the doorstep, perfect if you have a dog. Large open site, interspersed with small trees and hedges. We were allowed to choose our own pitch in early May. Friendly welcome from owner/manager who spoke good English. Nice, well respected cafe by the locals (5/5 on Google reviews May 2025), on site serving basic menu.

Disliked: The facilities were really basic and a bit shabby….oh and unisex which was an experience! It wasn’t an expensive site but kind of expect hot water for a shower really! It is a site that appears to be in the process of change. Lots of new wooden clad statics and safari tents being installed. I hope the facilities will be improved as part of this because then I would definitely recommend as a stop off.

From the manager: We appreciate you taking time to recognize our team’s work.
There are some works on the campsite to improve every problems, we are sorry you had to experience all those parts.

Hope to see you for an other stay when everything will be fixed.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Nice walks alone the river. Staff friendly. Restaurant on site.

Disliked: Toilet and shower block dated. Boiler broken so had cold water for shower and lights not working. Couldn’t get to the pitches as statics were blocking roadway so parked on a random piece of grass, was offered to move pitches at 8 pm.

Local attractions

Crossed by the River Somme and several smaller canals, Abbeville (35 minutes’ drive) spreads around the Église Collégiale Catholique Saint-Vulfran, with an intricately decorated Gothic façade flanked by two imposing turrets. Green spaces include the manicured Émonville Garden and 60 hectares of wetlands at Park Bouvaque, where you might spot resident and migratory birds. Dieppe (45 minutes) was once a major centre in the production of ivory items, and the museum in the clifftop castle houses a large collection of ivory statuettes, fans and other artefacts. The quays at the harbour are lined with seafood restaurants with outdoor terraces. The National Nature Reserve of the Somme (one hour) is an area of dunes and marshland with nature trails and bird hides. You can explore it by catching the steam train of the Railway Bay of Somme at Saint-Valery-sur-Somme or Le Crotoy.
