The focal point of this family-friendly site is the handsome abbey, which has stood here for several centuries: it presides over a park of five hectares, which gives guests plenty of space to roam – perhaps as far as the Bresle river, where fishing rods can be dangled into the water… If the estate’s not large enough for your rambling needs, the huge Eu forest is a 15-minute drive away, and the coast is half and hour away. Speaking of the coast, those planning ferry comings and goings may also like to note that Dieppe is less than an hour’s drive away. Closer to home are the local towns of Bouttencourt (10 minutes’ walk) and Blangy-sur-Bresle (20 minutes), which are your nearest sources of supermarket supplies, market pickings and restaurant meals. Back at your sizeable domain, flex your bowling arm at the pétanque court. A playground is on site to keep the kids happy on fine days; they can retreat to the indoor games room for table tennis or table football if too many clouds gather, or laze in front of the TV for a bit of chillout time.

Liked The place was very peaceful and serene. Beautiful grounds for camping and there were hedges in most parts that surrounded your unit which was ample room to put campervan/motorhome and a tent/awning/shelter and a small trailer if you have one. The Domaine building was very nice too and the toilet block and showers were cleaned everyday. There is a quirky little swimming pool for the kids. It’s built into a lake! It must be fibre glass surround or something which is embedded into the lake and there is an area of decking around it. The kids camping there loved it. Good security at the campsite too.

Disliked There could have been more toilets. There is only three and three showers with one small cubicle place with two wash basins. Not enough really in peak season. However, there were a lot of motorhomes when we were there so owners of these vehicles had their own facilities, so the queues for the toilets and showers weren’t so long.
Not a lot to do for adults other than staying at their camping unit taking it easy. There is a small town nearby, but it’s very quiet and you have a little way to walk to go to the supermarket. There are no shop facilities on site.

Disliked Pas d'ombre de toute la journée sur notre emplacement, etang de peche dégoûtant et non entretenu impossible de pecher parmi les algues, piscine fermer sans prévenir a la réservation, pas possible de se payer un simple café le matin seul option un petit déjeuner a 8 euros alors que je ne déjeune pas je voulais juste un café aucun petit snack bar de disponible, pas de lumière dans les allées, WC sale

Je vous remercie pour l'avis que vous avez laissé sur notre établissement. Je vais me permettre d'y apporter quelques précisions.
Dans notre établissement, les clients choisissent leurs emplacements. Vous avez donc choisi votre emplacement et il vous était possible d'en changer si cela ne vous convenait pas pour une raison ou pour une autre d'autant que vous êtes restée trois jours et deux nuits avec vos amis.
S'agissant de l'étang, il est régulièrement nettoyé dans la mesure où nous organisons des concours de pêche. Quant à la piscine, il y a des informations à la réception et à proximité de cette dernière afin d'informer notre clientèle de sa fermeture en raison de la mauvaise qualité de l'eau. Ces mêmes informations sont reprises sur notre site internet et sur les différentes sites de nos partenaires. Nous ne souhaitons pas en effet faire prendre le moindre risque à nos clients soucieux que nous sommes de préserver leur santé.
S'agissant de votre demande de café, nous n'avons pas de bar ni de restaurant dans notre établissement. Nous ne faisons pas de café à la demande et ma collaboratrice vous a informé que la seule solution était de commander un petit-déjeuner. L'absence de bar et de restauration est précisé dans nos descriptifs.
S'agissant des WC, ils sont nettoyés tous les jours et les différents commentaires et avis laissés par nos clients corroborent mes propos.
Manifestement, le domaine de Séry n'est pas un établissement fait pour vous. Je vous conseille d'être beaucoup plus attentive à la description du prochain camping que vous choisirez afin d'éviter toute insatisfaction.

Got an eye for gorgeous things? This part of the world is well known for its glassware, and a good collection of examples is at the glass museum in Blangy-sur-Bresle (five minutes’ drive or 20 minutes’ walk); sign up for a guided tour and they’ll show you the traditional glassblowing technique too. Also rather gorgeous is the many-turreted Château de Rambures (10 minutes’ drive): there are some pretty gardens to wander around here, and a selection of medieval-style games to try your hand at too. For more handsome historic buildings, aim for Amiens (50 minutes), home to half-timbered houses and a Gothic cathedral that’s twice the size of Notre-Dame in Paris. A boat through the fab floating gardens is a real must as well. Time for a sea view? Take the half-hour drive to Le Tréport to stroll through the old fishing quarter, dine at the seafood restaurants and ride the funicular (it’s free – hurrah) up to the clifftops for cracking views. If you’d rather play on the beach, make for neighbouring Mers-les-Bains instead, making sure to leave time to take in the resort’s Belle Epoque buildings too.
