Liked: Friendly staff , well kept well located site, really friendly bar area with excellent food

Disliked: No toilet paper in any cubicle, you have to take your own Shop nearly empty, probably because it was close to the end of the season

Liked: Campsite, beautiful landscaping with plenty of mature trees and shrubs. Peaceful and quiet. Baby pool is well thought out. Sanitaires are clean and have hot water, but are rather cramped and need more hooks to hang up towels, clothes and bags. Baby baths are very good. Charming young staff are very helpful.

Disliked: The shop is a disgrace. No stock, empty freezers. No food fresh frozen or tinned. No nappies. I felt so sorry for the people arriving and in need of the means of survival. Perhaps you are trying to drive them into the restaurant. Incidentally, the chips are awful, big and soggy. No local information or site-map provided.

Liked: Kids liked the slides , Bathrooms were clean and tidy

Disliked: Asked to change our pitch to one across from us as my solar was blocked on the one given and was refused even tho there were loads of pitches empty and were still empty when we were leaving , Paid WiFi I don’t mind that but they must have some sort of signal blocker for 4g as it was working outside the gate and as soon as you go in the gate it drops off and you are offered there paid service 🤩

Liked: Spacious site & pitches, hedges for privacy, clean facilities, great pools & a short walk to lovely quiet sandy beach. On site shop well stocked & friendly staff, or supermarket a short drive away.

Liked: Un camping très propre, avec d'excellentes piscines (propres et correctement chauffées). Les emplacements tentes sont larges et il y a des buissons pour garantir un minimum d'intimité. Tous les terrains sont equipés d'une arrivée d'eau et d'une prise électrique (attention, il faut prévoir l'adaptateur). Le camping se situe à 10 minutes en voiture du centre-ville de Saint-Jean-de-Mont. Il y a effectivement un chemin boisé (très agréable) qui relie directement le camping à la plage en moins de 15 min, mais attention, le portail ferme à 22h.

Disliked: C'est clairement un camping sans ambiance. Contrairement aux autres camping 4 étoiles, il n'y a pas de grande scène avec des animations et festivités. Le bar est très vieillissant et ne constitue pas un lieu de rencontre entre vacanciers. Je regrette aussi l'horaire d'ouverture des piscines. L'exterieur n'ouvre que à 11h, pour fermer à 19h ! Il en va de même pour le portail d'acces direct au chemin menant à la plage. J'ai regretté qu'il ferme à 22H, obligeant ainsi à prendre la voiture pour des soirées plages nocturnes. Mais dans l'ensemble, je ne peux que recommander ce camping.

The top local sights as recommended by the team are the beach and resort of Saint-Jean-de-Monts, where eight kilometres of sand mean stacks of sunbathing space as well as plenty of room for fishing and watersports. If you're there in June, the bonfires are a must. Plenty of adventure and animal parks are close by, including Explora Parc within five minutes' drive, Atlantic Toboggan (15 minutes) and Youpla Land (20 minutes). Inland, it's 50 minutes' drive to Planete Sauvage, a safari and marine park covering more than 80 hectares and home to nearly 1,000 animals of 150 different species. Noirmoutier is accessible 25 minutes' drive away via the Passage du Gois.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 07/07 and 26/08.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The bar is open between 19/05 and 04/09.

A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.
The indoor swimming pool is open between 19/05 and 04/09.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/07 and 31/08 (subject to weather conditions).

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.

Additional terms

Coal barbecues are only allowed in certain restricted parts of the site. There are no restrictions for gas/electric barbecues.
