  • Small, flower-filled Haute-Garonne site for tourers in Nailloux
  • Five minutes’ drive to Nailloux Outlet Village; Carcassonne 50 minutes
  • Seasonal produce available; shops and restaurants five minutes’ walk
With just a handful of well-secured gravel pitches for campers and tourers, Nailloux Lauragais is a small, neatly landscaped site on the outskirts of Nailloux village in the Haute-Garonne. Thanks to its proximity to the A61 and A66 autoroutes (both 10 minutes’ drive), it’s a handy stop for anyone heading south to the Riviera beaches or west to the Pyrenees respectively. Equally well, the site makes a clever base for those of you who’d like to linger for a few days, hire a bike and cycle along the Canal du Midi (40 minutes’ bike ride) or discover riverside Toulouse (35 minutes) and its Vieux Quartier (Old Quarter). When you’re done exploring for the day, put your feet up in the garden, with peaceful corners tucked away among the flower beds. Seasonal produce is available from the site owners after harvest (tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, peppers and melons are sometimes on the menu), and there are food shops and several takeaways in Nailloux (five minutes’ walk) if cooking is firmly off the holiday agenda.

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked: The owner, Patrick, made us very welcome. We found this a great site for an overnight stop on our way to Spain. There is a pizzeria a few minutes walk from the site and an outdoor bar in the town at weekends (10min walk). Patrick provided a couple of patio areas for us to use. Definitely will stay again when we are in the area.

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked: Patrick the owner was an absolutely fantastic host. Although the pitch is on his driveway in front of the garage, he quickly connected us up to the electric and showed us where the tap was for filling up. He could not have been more accommodating and he even gave my partner a triple rose head as it was her birthday on the day we arrived. He arranged a table, chairs and umbrella outside for us to sit at and enjoy the beautiful warm sunshine. The following morning, Patrick & his wife came out to wish us Bon Voyage. A very lovely quiet nights sleep. I would have no hesitation in returning to this lovely spot.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked: Patrick and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. Their house is only 15 minutes walk from a local lake which is lovely for walks. The only facilities are an electric hook up. Unfortunately we arrived in our small campervan which has no sanitation facilities so Patrick and his wife kindly let us use their private bathroom. Pitch up advertises that there is a laundrette available (one of our main reasons for booking the pitch). However this is not the case and again Patrick’s wife kindly let me use their own machine and dryer. They could not have been more accommodating.

Disliked: The pitch is on Patrick’s driveway infront of the garage and the house is on a suburban street. This is not a campsite. We had to pay double the advertised fee as we used extra facilities which are not usually available.
