Local attractions

This is a gorgeous part of the world, with lots of walks and other outdoor antics for all ages. The edge of the Cévennes National Park is about 20 minutes’ drive away, and there are also some great walks in places like Les Concluses de Lussan and the Païolive Woods (both 35 minutes’ drive) or along the trail to Sautadet Falls (25 minutes). The geology of this area has left it with some amazing sights to see – particularly around the Gorges de l’Ardèche (half an hour). Walks and scenic drives will show you some of the scenery, but the most popular way to do it is to canoe from Vallon-Pont-d’Arc (20 minutes), taking in the huge stone arch Le Pont d’Arc along the way. The sights extend below ground here, too, so you may like to plan visits to local caves. Aven d’Orgnac (15 minutes) and the Chauvet caves (25 minutes) are the best known, but there are others that are worth a look too, such as Grotte de la Salamandre and Grotte de la Cocalière (both 25 minutes).

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: a €750.00 (£643.36) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required within 0 days of arrival and will be refunded within 30 day(s) of departure after inspection of your unit, should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €85.00 (£72.91) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 02/06 and 30/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. between 02/06 and 30/09.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No vehicle movement between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
