Camping La Sapinette is on a hillside above the town of Quillan in the foothills of the Pyrenees, around 30km from Carcassonne.
The site has a swimming pool, paddling pool, playground, volleyball court, pétanque court, TV room and snack bar (high season only). Shower/toilet blocks have accessible facilities and there is a launderette.
The surrounding area has lots of walking trails and cycle paths, and canoeing and fishing are popular activities on the Aude river, which runs through the town. There are also several castles, vineyards and medieval villages to visit within 30km of the site.
