Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff who gave us a really warm welcome. The campsite is brilliant with excellent pitches. All facilities were spotlessly clean and maintained daily. The pool area, both indoor and outdoor, is as good as any 5 star hotel and is also very suitable for children. The site is set in the countryside well away from traffic noise etc. Small shop onsite which ordered fresh bread etc and sold a beautiful local wine at reasonable cost.

Liked: Amazing place ,pool,restaurant, so quite and our girl at reception was fantastic such a wellcome

Disliked: Everything was perfect except the waste system was at the reception area should be at the exit area for campervans when leaving as one way system

Liked: The pool area

Disliked: No TV 📺 and the bar was not open this is why we booked to watch the rugby! The restaurant was open but only until 21:30 the games started at 21:00. The restaurant service and food was terrible.

For the lack of television for the broadcast of the matches, we are sorry for the confusion but exceptionally for the period of the rugby world cup, we broadcast the matches at the restaurant. Regarding the restoration, we take note of your return and we will not fail to take it into account.

Fully-serviced earth pitch (XL)

Liked: Excellent reception staff, really helpful, no question or request was too much trouble. The toilets and swimming pools areas were in the style of ancient Rome and the setting of the campsite is indeed spectacular, surrounded by vineyards around 3km from the main road. Pitch sizes are good and the WiFi was good. Water and electric also proved reliable too. Facilities in general are fantastic. Near to Carcassonne and other places to visit.

Disliked: Some short but steep hills to walk up from reception / pool / restaurant & bar

Local attractions

If you manage to drag the family away from the pool complex, Carcassonne (half an hour’s drive) should be high on your list of potential visits. Wrapped in medieval walls, this little town is almost Disney-esque in its gorgeousness: book a guided tour of the turreted Château Comtal, visit the gothic Basilica of Saints Nazarius and Celsus, and see some pretty repulsive torture implements in the Museum of the Inquisition. Book a barge trip down the Canal du Midi, take a family bike ride along its banks or head to Lac de la Cavayère (both half an hour) for swims in clear water and rounds of mini-golf. For more adrenaline-filled, water-based adventures, go whitewater rafting down the steep-sided Pierre Lys gorges (50 minutes). If you’d care to dip into the region’s history, visit the four clifftop Cathar castles at Châteaux de Lastours (40 minutes) to stroll ruined courtyards, climb spiral staircases up towers with arrow slits in the walls, and see murder holes where prisoners once starved to death.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
The indoor swimming pool is open between 28/04 and 24/09.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 28/04 and 24/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. between 30/04 - 07/07 and 01/09 - 22/09.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. between 08/07 and 31/08.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
No charcoal barbecues allowed.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
