Liked Great place too chill out my little granddaughter made friends with the owners wife and there lovely dog swimming pool was a joy with the Temperature in the high 30 to 40 degrees Great place for families

Liked Shady pitches. Bird life.

Disliked We had a premium pitch with private facilities which meant being pitched next to public facilities. They were noisy and smelt pretty bad, especially when it was hot. When we arrived it was in a storm and the flood warnings were a bit unnerving and lots of pitches were flooded a bit the next day. We were next to a security gate by the river but that didn’t work so anyone could come in meaning we were locking everything away in the car. Club onsite was loud but not as loud as the club outside that had loud music until 3am on Saturday night. We had booked a week but cut our losses for an Airbnb after 2nights - a first for us after 20 years of camping. When we checked out we asked for a refund and were told to email the office. We did that but got no reply. Still worth leaving and paying the extra for an alternative though. Also, the wifi password was printed out wrong - the hank goodness for 5G.

We understand your disappointment regarding the location of your pitch and the inconveniences you mentioned. As previously indicated, in such situations, we always encourage our guests to come to the reception so that we can provide immediate assistance or suggest alternative solutions. Unfortunately, no concerns were brought to our attention during your stay, which limited our ability to intervene.

With regard to your request for a refund for the five unused nights, we must remind you that, in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale, an early departure cannot give rise to a refund. However, your email was duly noted and was under review by management when we noticed the publication of your review.

We also noted your remark indicating that you preferred to wait for a resolution before leaving a comment. We would like to emphasize that suggesting a negative review to obtain a favorable outcome does not facilitate the processing of requests and is not in keeping with the spirit of constructive dialogue we wish to maintain with our guests.

Finally, we regret some apparent contradictions in your review. You mention that the campsite’s location deserved a score of 8/10 while considering the pitch unsuitable. Similarly, you rated the child-friendliness of the site as 1/10 even though no children were included in your booking, and you evaluated value for money and customer service very poorly despite our teams being mobilized to resolve incidents related to exceptional weather events. These elements suggest that part of your rating may be disproportionate to the reality of your stay.

We remain, of course, available should you wish to discuss this matter further and hope you understand that exceptional events (such as adverse weather and their consequences) required our teams to act in order to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests.

Disliked Reception wasn’t manned all the time.
We paid extra for private facilities but they were poor, no light in the shower/ toilet didn’t flush.

Toute l'équipe se joint à moi pour nous excuser des problèmes que vous avez rencontrés.
En effet la réception est ouverte de 9h à 12h30 et 14h30 à 19h, il est difficile pour un petit camping d'être ouvert du matin à la nuit.
Pour 2025, le camping gérera la snack / bar et pourra ainsi vous accueillir du matin au soir.

Aussi, nous avons repris le camping en avril 2024, les sanitaires privatifs furent installés début juillet.
Nous nous excusons pour le désagrément et sommes désolés de ne pas nous l'avoir fait savoir, nous aurions pu vous fournir un autre sanitaire privatif.

Liked Es war idyllisch und freundlich. Reseption sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Luxus mit der eigenen seperaten Sanitäranlage.

Disliked Etwas schwierig aufzufinden, auch wegen der Baustelle davor.
