Since 2014 Le Camping des Ballastières has been home to wonderfully unusual lodgings such as tents on stilts and tent lodges catering for two to six people. The campsite is located in Franche-Comté in peaceful surroundings at the bottom of the Massif des Vosges Saônoises, with lots of walking and cycling routes nearby and next to two lakes (16 and 13 hectares) which are ideal for fishing.
On site guests will find a seasonal swimming pool, Jacuzzi, archery, volleyball court and pétanque playing area. For children there is a play area, paddling pool, adventure trails and a kids' club which runs in the morning during the high season. The direct access from the campsite to the fishing lakes makes it an ideal sport for fishing enthusiasts who can buy a daily or weekly pass during their stay for daytime and night-time fishing in low season. During the summer holidays, guests can enjoy different entertainment evenings from discos and karaoke to night-time swimming, games and themed evenings.
In terms of amenities the campsite is well-equipped with a small grocery shop, a snack bar with a TV, washing machines and dryers (ironing boards and irons available from reception) and baby changing facilities.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
