Tucked among 11 acres of pines, eucalyptus and cork oaks 10 minutes’ drive from Porto-Vecchio in southern Corsica, Camping U Stabiacciu might be just the spot for you. A leisurely family vibe prevails by day; you can breakfast in the restaurant terrace, let younger kids loose in the play area and organise family ping-pong matches – or go with the flow and laze on the sun deck around the solar-heated pool complex. And yes, things really get going in the evening. Gather with friends and family for dancing and DJs sets at lively pool parties, hang out in the bars and snap up pizzas or barbecue goodies on the restaurant terrace, where you can also join in with themed evenings, live music and karaoke sessions. If you decide on a change of scenery during the day, the gorgeous sandy beaches at Santa Giulia and Palombaggia are both less than 15 minutes’ drive away. Disliked Poolparty ging an 2 Tagen bis 2 Uhr nachts. Mit lautem Bass, sodass man nicht schlafen konnte.
Sanitäranlagen zur Hälfte gesperrt, die andere Hälfte in sehr schlechtem Zustand

Liked Douche puissante, possibilité d'un petit déjeuner le matin

Disliked Sanitaires pas propres, chasses d'eau défaillantes voir inutilisables, portes des toilettes qui ne ferment pas. Sur 8 nuits passées au camping, seulement 2 soirées où nous avons pu nous endormir avant 2h du matin. Les autres soirs, la musique était indescriptiblement forte, sans répit, de plus les visiteurs de ces soirées faisaient tout autant de bruit en sortant, nous avons même passé une fin de nuit de 2h à 6h à entendre un fêtard vomir tout près de notre tente. Aussi, certes les chiens sont admis mais les chiens du camping se promènent librement sans laisse et nous nous sommes fait agresser par un membre de l'équipe qui a laissé son chien s'approcher de notre emplacement alors que le nôtre était attaché et défendait juste l'emplacement.

Disliked Aunque parece jn campingcln muchas posibildades, el cuidado y mantenimiento del mismo es deficiente, suelos en mal estado, parcelas desorganizadas y parecen dar mas importancia a las fiestas nocturnas de la piscina que a los clientes del camping. Los dias de disco en la piscina es imposible descansar en el camping.

Further afield, join day cruises to the Lavezzi Islands by ferry from Bonifacio (25 minutes) for snorkelling in clear waters and topping up the tan on nigh-deserted beaches. When you’d rather stay firmly on dry land, go horse riding (25 minutes) through the Mediterranean maquis scrub or play a round of golf with dramatic clifftop views of the sea (half an hour).
