This immaculate, well-maintained site is praised for its exceptional, spa-like facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Set by a beautiful river in an attractive village, it offers spacious pitches, with many enjoying direct river access. Best site we have stayed at so far in France or UK
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked What a beautiful, peaceful site on the riverbank within a lovely village. We could only stay two nights but would happily have stayed longer. Staff could not be more welcoming and accommodating, and the facilities; thoughtful, spotlessly clean and modern. All done to fit in with and around the beautiful location, local produce and environment.
Disliked Not a dislike for us at all, but the church bells nearby do chime late and early if you are a light sleeper. Nothing that ear plugs couldn’t solve mind.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Everything on site was immaculate. The location was lovely and peaceful, wifi and electric worked really well.
Disliked A bit too quiet for us as a number of shops/ restaurants were closed - but would suit those who prefer the quieter life.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Everything ! What a gem of a campsite . Small and super friendly. Beautiful setting. Immaculately clean facilities.
We bought a bottle of local champagne and were lent some flutes to experience it properly and purchased some delicious hot meals which saved us cooking on our stop over on way home. Will definitely come back again and we were sorry we only had 1 night there.

The best campsite in France
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Absolutely everything !
This trip we stayed in several campsites across 3 countries and this campsite was hands down my favourite. Possibly my favourite ever. If you decide to book a stay you will receive a warm welcome from friendly staff. You can buy local wine and champagne from the reception, very reasonably priced. We bought a bottle of Champagne and our hosts very kindly offered us the use of glass flutes. We also opted for a pitch next to the river, which we were invited to go and have a look at which one we would prefer. We were near the pontoon and steps down to the river which we took full advantage of during our stay. We swam each day which was bliss, watching the fish shimmering as they jumped and the flash of royal blue from the hungry Kingfishers enjoying their fill. You can hire kayaks and bikes and spend a lazy day fishing if you like. The facilities are spotless. The bathroom blocks are not only clean and smell lovely but they are modern, welcoming and warm. Ambient, relaxing music plays as you enjoy a warm shower. The cubicles are spacious so you can actually shower and dry yourself comfortably. The surroundings and the town itself are beautiful. You will hear the church bells, and the chickens, personally I loved that and I can't wait to go back.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Wry nice site in a nice little village. Facilities were very good and a good stop off location going either north or south in France.
Disliked We were in a pitch which was very close to the road and noise of traffic was a bit frustrating in the evening.

From the manager: Bonjour and thanks for your review.
We are sorry that you were inconvenienced by vehicle noise. On your next stay, please let us know if you would like a pitch further away from the bridge. It is rare for traffic to cause noise, but it can happen on rare occasions. We apologize for this.
We hope to see you soon

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Excellent for the children and lovely pitches. Excellent facilities, too. Bought a bottle of local Champagne from the reception shop and they even loaned us some flutes to drink it out of. The chap on reception was so helpful and lovely. Would definitely visit again, but for a longer period of time to make the most of it. It's a shame we only could stop for one night and sad we've only just found it. We highly recommend it. A must visit.
