L'Orangerie de Lanniron

What a beautiful site L'Orangerie is. We stayed there for 9 days and enjoyed every one of them.
The grounds were big enough to give our Collie a good walk without going over the same ground twice. The restaurant lived up to our expectations.
We thought the town might be a bit of a trek, but in reality took only a half hour walk, while there was a god supermarket only 20 minute walk away.
An expat local I happened to talk to told me it was the most expensive site in Brittany. I don't know about that, but I paid more for sites in the UK offering far less. In our view it was worth every penny.

Nothing comes to mind.

The setting was beautiful. The facilities were like brand new, very well thought out and the best I have ever used.
Very convenient for Quimper centre on bicycle.

The wedding party at the chateau which was loud and went on until 4.15am!! A little annoying.

The setting, the toilets and showers were spotless.
The grounds were beautiful and an easy cycle to Quimper.
The swimming pool was a lovely and as we went at the end of season it was all very pleasant and peaceful.

The restaurant was closed and the WiFi is only available free in reception. You have to pay a charge for WiFi at your pitch but it was very fast.

Nice spacious site with large level pitches. Excellent clean facilities, plus nice swimming pool, small shop and lovely gardens and grounds to wander in. Helpful staff. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of Quimper, through woods and along the river, avoiding busy roads.

Washing machine doesn’t seem to like English credit cards. Relatively expensive site fees.

A fabulous site, exactly as described. Wonderful facilities for children & the chateau grounds provided a lovely place for an evening wander.
We only stayed for two nights whilst passing through and was very sad to leave. Could have spent a week here easily.
Nice countryside path into Quimper, manageable by the kids on scooters/ bikes.

Wonderful pool & trampoline park which were the highlight of our kids stay in France. We will be back......

There is a lot to do on site and Quimper is easily walkable. There are lovely beaches within half an hour. The Trampleforest is brilliant, fun for parents too. Once in there is a lot included so the price is well justified. The on site shop is well stocked. The showers are the best I've seen on a campsite, all in cubicles with a sink and toilet. Showers are new this year and cleaned frequently.

Long queues at reception (things like mini golf clubs can take 20 mins of queuing)

All the facilities were excellent and the surroundings lovely. Nice walk into Quimper.

Pitch tiny, muddy, and sloping. Barely room for our Peugeot Boxer and small gazebo. We were there for only three nights but paid the same as people on lovely generous flat pitches with grass!

Amazing campsite, immaculate toilets and showers. Beautiful surroundings. Trampforest was a big plus for the kids and swimming pool was perfect too!

Could do with an all day cafe or more choice in the restaurant.

Great facilities, beautiful location. So much to do on site and only a short walk to city centre.

Clean toilet and shower, easy walk into Quimper

Had to move four times as each pitch was totally unacceptable. Ehu too far, water too far (both on another pitch) - under a low tree - under trees with lots of large roots so unable to get level and next to children's play area. Our final pitch was quite good but a fridge in a big box was dumped next to the van. Nothing finished over the site, cables and pipes everywhere. Three stars but I guess the five stars are for the pool, golf course etc
