Are you looking for a surfing holiday away from the busy Cornish beaches? Camping de la Torche is the place for you. This French campsite has direct access through a footpath to the famous Pointe de la Torche beach (just 1.3km away), which is a real surfers' paradise!

On site, you will find excellent facilities such as a large heated swimming pool, an adventure playground with a huge inflatable giraffe and a multisport area, perfect for playing volleyball and football. Don't forget boules too, and challenge your tent neighbours in the pétanque court!

During the busy season (July and August) we will organise crêpe and barbecue nights, karaoke and discos, concerts, tournaments, bingo and much more!

Modern toilet blocks include disabled facilities and baby rooms.

Local city tax of €0.40 per day per person over the age of 16 is not included and must be paid on arrival. It applies to all stays between 15/06 and 15/09.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

1. Admission is only permitted after registering in reception. The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

2. All guests spending the night at the campsite must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms. Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

3. Your unit must occupy the pitch allocated on arrival. Occupancy cannot exceed the number indicated in your booking form. You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent.

4. Reception is open from 9am to 12 noon and from 2pm to to 8pm during July and August. In low season reception opens from 10am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 6pm. Our reception team is available to help and provide all kinds of information and suggestions.

6. Campers are asked to avoid any noise or nuisance that may disturb other clients. Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly. Complete silence between midnight and 8am.

7. Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee. Hosts are responsible for their behaviour.

8. The speed limit is 10km/h. No vehicle movement between 11pm and 8am. Only one car per pitch. Extra cars must be parked in the car parking. Bicycles must not obstruct car traffic.

9. Please keep your pitch and the facilities tidy and clean. Dirty water, rubbish and any waste must be disposed of in the indicated areas. Hang your laundry in the room provided. Please be considerate of the natural surroundings, plants and trees. All damages must be paid for.

10.a Open fires are prohibited and any electric appliances used on site must not be faulty. Fire extinguishers and first aid kits are available on site.

10.b The campsite shall not be responsible for your personal belongings.

10.c Swimsuits, trunks and bikinis allowed in the swimming pool. No shorts. Swimming pool opening times may vary depending on weather conditions.

11. No rough or disturbing games are allowed at the campsite.

12. Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with management. Please speak to reception whether the need arises.

13. A valid vaccination certificate (including rabies) must accompany your dog. Your dog must be tattooed and micro chipped. We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds of Staffordshire terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any mastiff or Tosa. Fouling must be cleaned up immediately.
