  • Peaceful family site in the woods, five minutes' drive from Morgat
  • Adventure park and horse riding within walking distance
  • Swimming pool, mini tennis, playground and snack bar on site
An adventure park, maze and stables within walking distance, lots of quiet bike trails all around, beaches, surf lessons and boat trips a 10-minute drive away – it’s safe to say that Camping Les Pins has things well sorted for easy access to family-friendly holiday antics. As the pines of its name suggest, this is a peaceful place in the woods on the Crozon peninsula, handily plonked around halfway between the beach of Goulien and the little seaside resort of Morgat (and only a couple of kilometres from each). This fab corner of Finistère is fairly quiet for traffic, so bring bikes along if you like for a handy way to hit the beaches or traipse through the forest. It’s not just the surrounds that have the family-friendly activities sorted: there’s plenty to keep you busy on site too, including a swimming pool (covered in case of inclement days), mini tennis court, table tennis and a playground with a giant inflatable for small-person bouncing. For eats, you’re welcome to light up a barbie here to cook up whatever you’ve picked up from the market in Morgat or the supermarket five minutes away in Crozon. For more immediate noshing needs, the shop can sort you with ice creams, fries and drinks; the staff cook up pizzas on occasion as well.

Local attractions

Head either east or west from here and you’ll hit the beach after a couple of kilometres. Goulien in the west is the place to catch a wave (with surf lessons on hand if you don’t know how), while the calmer waters of Morgat in the east are better for swimming and watersports including paddleboarding, sailing and sea kayaking. If you fancy a closer look at that craggy coastline, head to the harbour in Morgat to board a boat trip to the Grottes de Morgat sea caves. There’s much to see with a stroll along the coast path too, either here or elsewhere around the peninsula – Île Vierge cove, the Menhirs de Lagatjar standing stones and the World War II memorials at Pen-Hir Point are all popular picks. Staying inland for a while, an adventure park is pretty much next door to the site, and a maze to fight your way out of is a few minutes’ walk down the road. Woodland rides and beachy canters can both be had from the riding stables 15 minutes’ walk away.
