Camping Le Drennec

Liked Découvert par le plus grand des hasards, ce camping familial est exactement ce que nous cherchions. Endroit calme et reposant dans une verdure bien entretenue. Nous étions avec notre camping-car sur une position bien ombragée, au frais malgré ces chaleurs accablantes de cet été. Grande place qui nous a permis de nous étaler un peu sans gêner quiconque. L'accueil fut parfait: sourire et confiance. Le camping est propre et stupeur: à deux minutes d'un lac dans lequel la baignade est autorisée. Petite boutique sur le camping qui permet d'ajuster les éventuels oublis. Venus pour un week-end, nous en avons réservé un autre.

Liked Great site, about 1 hr from roscoff ferry. The owners were great, very friendly and helpful. As I only stayed for 1 night i didn't have chance to explore the area. I would recommend that anyone with a large caravan to provide the size when booking so a suitable pitch can be allocated as some pitches can be a bit awkward.

Liked We booked late for a one week stay and were pleased to be given a good sized and part shaded pitch as requested.
The positioning of this site right by the lake is lovely.
We chose to leave after just one night as we were unwell.

Disliked The only negative side to our very short stay was the feeling of unfriendliness on the site. Very strange and something we have never experienced before in France.
This is the first time we haven't been greeted by the owners although the lady who showed us in did her best but she seemed stressed. The following day when the owners returned they didn't appear to make any attempt to speak to their campers and check if everything was OK. Its not a big site so even at peak times this would have made us feel welcome and a common courtesy on most sites.

Sometimes we have to go shopping for the campsite so are not always here when customers arrive. I am glad you enjoyed your pitch and sorry that you found our welcome lacking.

Thankyou for your review. I am glad that you liked your pitch and sorry that you found our facilities lacking. We do check and clean 3 times daily. We do have staff members here all day in the summer so I think that I will put a note in the toilets that if you find them in a messy order that you can come and tell the staff who will happily rectify the situation. Most our campers love it here and return year after year. I am sorry it wasn't for you.
