Camping Les Hortensias

Great quiet location, overlooking the bay.

The toilet block could do with updating, its like going back to my days camping in the 70s, although was kept clean.

The surrounding area was very nice,the staff at the site were very friendly.

I must say we were very disappointed with the site.the sanitary conditions were dreadful and could not bring ourselves to use the facilities we arrived on the Sunday and left on the Tuesday morning the toilet block should be severely updated.

Small green site with friendly warden. Decent sized pitches but levelling blocks useful. Easy access to GR34 and beautiful beaches. No shops within walking distance but bread can be ordered. Seafood shack, Le Petit Bain, about 20 minutes walk away via coastal path or beach at low tide.

Facilities are reasonably clean but rather outdated and could do with an upgrade. No loo paper!

The whole site is tired and run down needing a major overhaul. There is no evidence of any regular maintenance or upkeep normally expected.
Access difficult to site and to pitches for any vehicle other than a single, small car.

One camper and one tent. Small but private and well kept pitches. A small relaced site, quiet, fabulous location,lots of walks and superb views. The facilities were basic but clean and functional. A great find.

Facilities were very dated & in need of some tlc!

Ambiance - setting - owners. Very friendly site with delicious crêpes on offer every evening. Anaïs & Alexis work really hard to give a restful stay.

Some of the toilet block facilities are a bit basic but generally clean and adequate.

Campsite is ok and the staff is polite and helpful.

It should be modernized/updated showers, toilets, kitchen, maintenance should be done around it

This site is in a really great location. The beach can be accessed directly from the campsite and there's also lots of great walks in the area (check out the outdooractive app for infos!). Views are amazing over the sea, and the staff we spoke to during our say were super friendly.

The toilet / shower/ wash up facilities were really outdated, although clean. Needs a little TLC to bring it up to date. Also a lot of the plants were over grown and needed trimming back a little (eg, big bush blocking off the toilet entrance).

Loved this site. So peaceful and pretty. Very basic in terms of facilities but had everything we needed. Would definitely return and recommend.
