Liked: Swimming pools and facilities were brilliant for kids and adults too. Very clean site. 5 min drive to a big supermarket. Kids club is amazing for the kids. My Little one loved it. Pitches nice and level and never too far to get water.

Disliked: The on site shop was really really basic but the super market close by made that better.

Liked: Loved the pool, hot showers and entertainment. Clean facilities and very well kept site.

Disliked: The reception area had a bit of an odd atmosphere. We felt like we were intruding when we walked in. Avoided it as much as possible and plucked straws as to who would go an ask a question.

Liked: Very nice campsite - hardly any flying bugs for rural France and shops 3 mins away - we had a great stay- good pitches and facilities- worth looking this one up

Disliked: Pizza from the restaurant was from the freezer

Local attractions

Château de Lez-Eaux's setting should sort you out for whichever flavour of Normandy holiday you're after; if you seek yet more northern France adventures, it's about an hour and 15 minutes' drive to Saint-Malo and the Brittany coast too. The closest sandy beach is about four kilometres away, at the park's local town of Saint-Pair-sur-Mer. Begin your Normandy wanderings with some time at the surrounding Mont Saint-Michel Bay or Baie du mont Saint-Michel, between Brittany and the Normandy peninsula of Cotentin, and a setting so splendid it's a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Birdwatching and seal spotting are popular picks around these waters, as is a trip to the world-famed Mont Saint-Michel island and its monastery. Mont Saint-Michel is reachable at low tide from Granville, well worth a day or two in itself for its wide golden sandy beach, its art deco casino and, for fashionistas, the gardens and the 19th-century Villa les Rhumbs where Christian Dior and his family spent their summers.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 03/07 and 27/08.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The bar is open between 07/04 and 10/09.
The grocery shop is open between 07/04 and 10/09.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.
The indoor swimming pool is open between 07/04 and 10/09.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 15/05 and 10/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. between 07/04 and 02/07 and between 28/08 and 10/09.
Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. between 03/07 and 27/08.

Firearms are not permitted.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
