General
- Family-friendly and family-run site 10 minutes' walk from Give city
- Legoland, Givskud Zoo and Baboon City within a half-hour drive
- Heated pool, cafeteria, miniature golf, trampolines and bouncy castle
Give Camping is certainly a site with plenty to give… For starters, there’s the tiptop setting on the edge of the Southern Denmark town of Give, with easy access both to woodland walks (in the forest just over the road) and useful amenities like shops and restaurants (in the town centre, 10 minutes’ trot away).
And that’s not all for location plus points – check it out on the map and no doubt eagle-eyed kids will helpfully point out how handy this family-run site will be for days out at Legoland, which just happens to be within 15 minutes' drive...
The folk at Give aren’t resting on their location laurels though – they’ve also packed the place full of things to do, including a heated outdoor pool area (with three pools, accessed for an extra charge), sports fields, tennis courts, miniature golf and table tennis. That’s alongside the stack of stuff for the tiddlers: pedal cars, a bouncy castle, trampoline and a playground should keep them entertained for a while.
There’s been plenty of attention given to the essentials too: eats are sorted at the cafeteria or in the well-equipped kitchen, and there’s a small shop on site for folks who don’t fancy the 10-minute supermarket stroll. Those who fear bathroom queues will also be chuffed to see there’s a favourable shower-to-pitch ratio here, and oodles of hot water as well.

Local attractions
The big hitter round these parts has to be Legoland, 15 minutes’ drive away in Billund and one of Denmark’s most popular attractions (more than 50 million people have visited since it opened in 1968, fact fans). Rollercoasters, water rides and of course the famed Lego models are among the ways to fill your day here.
Away from the plastic bricks, you may like to take in the animal antics at Givskud Zoo (15 minutes’ drive), see some smashing science demos at Økolariet (25 minutes) or take the small sorts to the indoor amusement park Baboon City, half an hour away,
History buffs will want to swing by the area’s two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Jelling burial mounds (20 minutes away) and the Moravian Church settlement at Christiansfeld (50 minutes). Crafty types may like to get stuck into various traditional activities at Vingsted Historic Workshop (20 minutes) or admire the handiwork at Tørskind Grusgrav sculpture park (half an hour).
