Don’t snooze on these sea views… the pitches at Tiny SeaSide – Skarrev are right by the sea and have direct access to a beach, which means you'll be poised to take a saltwater soak whenever you please – and you'll be in prime position to watch the sunset over the sea. The pitches are in Skarrev on the Aabenraa Fjord, which is just a 15-minute drive from Aabenraa, a town with a a wide range of shops, restaurants and cafés, a cobbled old town and the Brundlund Castle art museum surrounded by a sculpture garden. The ferry stop for Barsø, an island with a seven-kilometre walk and splendid views in all directions, is also only a 15-minute drive away. You may want to take the time to explore the local area in Skarrev, perhaps beginning with a stroll along the coast or a wander to a few of the fishing spots in the area. Back at base, there’s a café where guests can secure a steaming cup of coffee, as well as bread and other drinks. Kids can let off steam in the playground while you kick back. When it comes to practical stuff, the facilities at Tiny SeaSide – Skarrev are just as good as the view. There are toilets, showers, a launderette and wifi.

Liked Wir kamen mit einen großen Zelt an und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Sonnenuntergänge waren Mega schön. Der Campingplatz an sich war sehr ruhig alles war friedlich. Der Strand war sehr dicht und weitläufig. Die Dusche musste man nicht bezahlen und hintern Häuschen die großen Duschen mit WC war perfekt für eine Familie.

Disliked Man kann kaum etwas negatives berichten. Optional wäre es schön wenn man es schaffen könnte das auf dem Spielplatz vlt auch ein Schattiges Plätzchen wäre. An den Strand kann man nichts ändern aber man sollte Badeschuhe mit haben weil er sehr Steinig ist.

Liked Wunderschöner, kleiner Campingplatz direkt am Meer

Wir waren mit Van und Dachzelt da und haben uns total wohlgefühlt. Der Platz ist klein, ruhig und liebevoll geführt – direkt am Wasser gelegen. Besonders der Spielplatz war super für unseren Sohn (10 Jahre).

Disliked Einziger Minuspunkt: Die sanitären Anlagen sind leider veraltet, und es gibt nur eine Dusche. Wenn dieser Bereich modernisiert würde, wäre es ein absoluter Traumplatz.

Liked Ein kleiner verstecker wunderbarer Platz. Sehr nettes Team. Wunderbarer kaffee und neben Zelten kann man auch tiny-Häuser mieten, die sehr schön sind. Steiniger Strand aber trotzdem auch für Kinder super geeignet

Liked …sehr entspannte und sehr freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Betreiber und dem anwesenden Servicepersonal. Toller Ausblick aufs Meer.

Disliked Die Sanitäranlagen sind definitiv aus den späten 70er Jahren.
Im Strandbereich dürfte wenigstens ab und zu mal das Unkraut entfernt und die Wege zum Wasser wenigstens etwas gemäht werden.

Local attractions

Always ready for a hike? The Gendarme Path (around 35 minutes) is within striking distance; tracing the coast northeast of Flensburg, it has plenty of splendid sea views. HighPark Sønderjylland (15 minutes) will also get your heartbeat up; try the treetop climbing courses, which are ranked for all different levels of ability, and then celebrate with a stack of pancakes in their Pancake House. For a sad but important piece of history, you may want to travel south to The Frøslev Camp Museum (35 minutes). This museum holds one of the best-preserved internment camps from World War II. Flensburg (50 minutes) may require one of the longest drives out of the bunch, but the city is loaded with lovely things to see, from the pretty scenery along Flensburg Fjord to the gabled city gate, shipyard museum and a pair of history museums.
