Liked: We booked two pitches Excellent, we arrived later than advised due to bad weather but that was no problem for this campsite. The barrier was open and we just found a suitable pitch. The pitches that we saw were all level and a good size. Having arrived quite late we decided to eat at the on site restaurant which had a basic menu but was adequate for we wanted and reasonably priced. In the morning we used the toilets and showers we were clean and tidy and maintained and afterwards we met with the manager at the reception who was friendly and chatty

Liked: Przyjechaliśmy we dwójkę z synem (6 l.), autem osobowym z namiotem, parcela na auto i namiot wystarczająca, żeby się ze wszystkim zmieścić, w tym postawić stolik i krzesła. Warunki doskonałe, przytulna świetlica z tv, bilardem, książkami, grami planszowymi itp. Prysznice, toalety czyste, w kuchni czajnik elektryczny i piekarnik oraz kilka palników do ugotowania sobie obiadu. Dostępny basen, boisko, plac zabaw, wypożyczalnia rowerów. Blisko do morza i do miejsc, gdzie można wędkować i spacerować, polecam i z chęcią jeszcze tam wrócimy.

Local attractions

The beach here is a truly excellent one, with kilometre upon kilometre of clean, soft sand and lots of space for paddling and games. Behind the beach is the huge Husby dune plantation, best seen by following the three-kilometre hiking trail (usually accessible to wheelchairs and buggies too, as long as the wind hasn’t swept too much sand up…) Fishing’s a fine activity along the coast, too – Thorsminde (five minutes’ drive), where sea meets lake, being one of the best spots to buy or catch. For swims without any current, slope off to the bathing lake in Stråsø Plantage (half an hour) or head to the covered warm waters and waterslides of Holstebro Badeland (half an hour). Keep things coast-based for a while longer with a trip to the interactive exhibits, workshops and play areas at Kystcentret Thyborøn (40 minutes), then skip next door to stroke slithery sea beasts at Jyllandsakvariet aquarium. Steer away from the sea and trips inland might include footgolf, inflatable sumo and other madcap pursuits at Vesterhavets Fodboldgolf (15 minutes) or arty wanders in Holstebro (half an hour), visiting the museum and seeking out the sculptures around the town.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Extras

A charge of DKK4.00 (£0.47) applies for the use of the shower.
Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 10/07 and 03/08.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.

Pitches

Pitches: a DKK100.00 (£11.68) deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.

Pool

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 15/06 and 15/08 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 01/01 and 31/12.
Reception is unmanned after 8 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Taxes

Local city/eco tax is included in the rate.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must leave the premises by 11 p.m..
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
