General

  • Farm site with microbrewery 10 minutes' drive from Lemvig
  • Drive to the North Sea beaches in around half an hour
  • Fishing lake, sauna, hot tub, brewery tours and farm shop

Well now, here’s a place you’ll likely want to raise a glass to – there’s a brewery in the main building at Nr. Nissum Håndbryg, a spacious seven-hectare farm site 10 minutes’ drive from Lemvig.

Folk who fancy finding out a bit more about the process of creating the beers can sign up for tours, tastings and courses; brews are also available to buy at the farm shop for those whose interest lies more in the sampling (there are usually around 10 or 12 to choose from).

Bottles in hand, you’re welcome to settle on the terrace, trot off to sip in a quiet corner of the pretty gardens or slope off to the lakeside for a picnic or a spot of trout fishing. You might also consider heading to the hot tub, although you’d be best advised to save the ales for later if you’d prefer a sauna sesh.

Any snacks you may require to accompany your selected beverages can be cooked up on a barbecue or prepped at the well-equipped guest kitchen, where there’s also a cosy lounge area to hang out in on less clement days. A supermarket is a 15-minute bike ride away in the nearest village, and there are plenty of restaurants in Lemvig for those who’d like to let someone else do the cooking.

    Obwohl es während unseres Aufenthaltes beinahe immer geregnet ( und zum Teil auch ) gestürmt hat, haben wir uns als Gäste durchweg wohl und willkommen gefühlt !
    Unser Gastgeber war sehr herzlich und aufgeschlossen und hat alles in seiner Macht stehende getan, um uns den Kurzurlaub auf seinem Anwesen so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.
    Dazu gehörte u.a.das Anfeuern der Sauna, die wir an einemTag allein für uns mieten konnten. Eine schöne Abwechslung und sehr wohltuend.
    Von den kulinarischen Angeboten haben wir nichts angenommen, uns aber von anderen Gästen sagen lassen, daß es sehr lecker sei.
    Wir können uns vorstellen, wie herrlich es im Sommer, mit Wärme und Sonne sein kann, denn das Anwesen ist so schön angelegt und gepflegt, daß es immer wieder eine Freude war, sich darin zu bewegen.
    Und selbstverständlich werden wir es weiter empfehlen !

    Schöner ruhiger Stellplatz mit wunderbarem Garten, der mitgenutzt werden kann. Im Hofladen der Brauerei gibt es tolle Produkte und morgens einen Brötchenservice. Kinderspielplatz vorhanden, Sauna und Whirlpool können gemietet werden. Tolle Aussicht auf den Limfjord.

Local attractions

This is a good spot in which to settle if you fancy a bit of quiet countryside pottering on foot or by bike: you can walk through the woods around the site itself, or head out onto local lanes to take in little villages and traditional churches.

If you like your strolls to involve sea air, it’ll take you around half an hour to drive over to the North Sea coast – the beaches around Vejlby are a popular pick, as is a coastal ramble to see the Bovbjerg Fyr lighthouse. More water-view activity can be had on the golf course in Lemvig.

Lemvig’s also the place to go for a relaxed stroll round the harbour (perhaps stopping for a meal in a seafood restaurant or picking up the catch of the day at the fishmonger). Peeps who prefer seeing their fish still swimming may like to make a trip to the aquarium in Thyborøn, half an hour away by car; the Jutland Sea War Museum is also in town for folk with an interest in military history.

Arrivals and departures
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.

Pitches
Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.
