Camping y Cabinas El Tecal is 500 metres from the beach, just outside the small village of Uvita on Costa Rica's Pacific coast.
The area's main attraction is the the Marino Ballena National Park, which is a great place to spot migrating whales and dolphins.There are also several stretches of glorious sandy beach on this section of the coast, some of which are popular with surfers, and the surrounding countryside is well served with trails that lead to waterfalls where you can cool off after a walk.
Rental tents, furnished with pillows, mattresses and bed linen, are set up on the second floor of the main building, with carpet underneath for comfort and a roof to protect you from the weather.
Among the facilities at Camping y Cabinas El Tecal are an outdoor swimming pool, TV room, free wifi, a dining area and a kitchen equipped with refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, electric fryer, coffeemaker, gas cooker, dishes and cutlery.
Guests will also have access to shared bathrooms and showers on site.
