From the manager: hello, I m above all desperate to read your sympatic comment !! the lavatories are cleaning each day , twice a day during weekend ... this weekend was a weekend of affluence with groups people and so a little bit unusual... it is a campsite and some people , it can happen , are not very carefull , using toilets/showers on a poor way ... if you come just after , it is unpleasant ...everybody can imagine ... groups are normaly on a another part of the campsite ...with other lavatories ... writing and discribing what you wrote is unpleasant for everybody ; the other comments are proving fortunately it is not the reality ! you only make decrease our cotation on Pitchup and I think that normal people do not appreciate your comment ! regards, olivier CAPELLE

Liked: Very friendly and helpful man at reception, very reasonable prices.

Disliked: Couple things could do with an odd job man but maybe they didn’t realise the light wasn’t working in one of the toilets. I don’t understand all the negative reviews as it may be basic but it’s all functional and cheap.

Liked: Great location, small and nice village a walk away. Great sized pitches. Lovely bar and restaurant on site. Clean toilets and showers. The person welcoming us was very friendly and informative.

Disliked: Sauna and jacuzzi advertised as open on pitch up, but it was closed when we were there, but that didn’t bother us as the site was nice

Liked: The seclusion from the other RV campers was very nice. The view at the top of the hill was lovely!

Disliked: A little slippery going down to the WC. Late arrivals coming in and playing loud music at 0230.

Liked: We stayed here with 6 people on 2 pitches. Had a great stay at this camping site. The staff were very kind. We had a friend that joined later and the staff were very helpful and flexible so he could join in on the pitch. Aswell we ordered a firepit but due to the rain we asked to cancel and got a refund without any problems.

Local attractions

If you’re after more activity once you’ve warmed up on site, divert to Dinant Evasion (20 minutes’ drive), an adventure park with treetop trails, paintballing and kayaking, or aim for Yvoir Island (20 minutes) for waterskiing, swims and high-speed inflatable rides on the river. Cycle trips are a fine way to get out and about locally; if you fear going astray from your chosen route, banish any such possibilities by getting in the saddle at Les Draisines de Molignée (25 minutes), a velorail that runs along an abandoned railway line through the pretty Molignée valley. Another fab ride nearby is the cable car in Dinant (20 minutes), which glides up to its medieval fortress for some excellent views. Château de Vêves (15 minutes) is worth a stop if you like a handsome building, as is the slightly bonkers Grotte Saint Antoine De Padoue (10 minutes), an elaborate manmade rock church. Love the Belgian beers? See where some of them come from at Brasserie de Bocq brewery (10 minutes), where tours are signed off with samples to sip.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 15 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings must not be for more than 10 consecutive nights.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 01/07 and 31/08.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 12 a.m. and 6:30 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 01/04 and 15/10.
The sauna (and/or hammam) is open between 01/03 and 30/12.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €200.00 (£170.62) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €25.00 (£21.33) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Pitches

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Reception

Reception is closed from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.. No arrivals are permitted between these times.
Reception is unmanned after 6 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must leave the premises by 11 p.m..
