Plenty of swimming opportunities to keep the canines cool.

Plenty of well signposted walking routes - some quite hilly!

Quiet town with a lack of facilities. go to la roche for shopping & restaurants.

This is a well designed site with large pitches and adjacent to a beautiful river.

Liked: De locatie vonden wij erg prettig, de service bij de receptie was erg prettig. Badkamers, toiletten en douches zijn schoon en netjes. Een plek die zeker aan te bevelen is. Wij gaan hier zeker nog een keer naartoe.

Liked: Sehr gepflegter Campingplatz mit ganz neuen Sanitäranlagen. Direkt am Fluss gelegen, wunderschön idyllisch. Sonnig von morgens bis abends. Der sehr schöne Ort La Roche en Ardenne ist nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auro entfernt. Der Campingplatz hat auch einen Brötchenservice, täglich, außer Montags, das ist sehr gut. Alles hat prima geklappt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Liked: Campsite was very clean. Toilets and showers are very close to the camp, modern and very clean. Staff is really friendly. Washer and dryer on the premises and can be paid by bank card. Right next to the river and close to great outdoor activities like hiking and canoeing. The beautiful town of La Roche is also close by. Campers keep to the rules and the site is really peaceful and quiet

Disliked: Right next to the road, but that did not bother me very much

Liked: Fab site excellent toilets and showers
Dits alongside a lovely river would definitely stay again may have more facilities such as a shop for bread milk and food when it’s not low season as now

Disliked: Having to pay for fresh water
No shop for basic necessities maybe as it’s out of season

Local attractions

Staying in the local area, you could saunter around pretty streets lined with historic stone houses in the hamlet of Borzée (10 minutes' drive) before taking the kids to peek at the wild species on show at Parc à Gibier de La Roche (10 minutes), a mini zoo dedicated to game. For cuddly encounters, there's also La p'tite Ferme Balthazard (15 minutes), a farm park where city kids can get up to speed with rural life. For riverside walks or watersports, make your way towards the Barrage de Nisramont (15 minutes), an impressive dam surrounded by greenery where all sorts of aquatic activities can be arranged. If you'd rather stick to dry land instead, a serene stroll around Parc Chlorophylle (25 minutes) may be the answer – this forest park has some brilliant trails and a great adventure playground for younger visitors. You didn't think you'd have a holiday in Belgium without sampling some beers, did you? Round off your trip by sipping on local ales at the Brasserie d'Achouffe (20 minutes), a well-regarded brewery that's home to La Chouffe, one of the most popular Belgian beers around.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
This is a quiet site: no music is allowed.
You'll need an Environment Agency rod licence (you'll need to apply for this beforehand).

Occupancy

Group bookings of 2 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
Group bookings of 5 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Pitches

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Reception

Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between 21/03 and 02/11.
Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.
Swimming in the lake is allowed.

Taxes

Local city/eco tax is included in the rate.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
