What customers say

This campsite boasts stunning views and a friendly welcome from the owners. Guests consistently praise the cleanliness of the facilities, including hot showers and toilets, and the convenient 5-minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach and local pub. While some mention windy conditions due to the exposed location and a lack of mobile signal, the overall experience is described as peaceful, clean, and ideally situated for exploring Pembrokeshire. Fire pits are available to hire.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Just to say a HUGE thank you to Janet and Mike who looked after us on our summer holiday this year.!
Fab welcome!
Always there to assist with any of our needs and went above and beyond during some tricky blustery days.
Mind blowing view from the campsite.
5 mins walks from the beach.
Hot showers and the cleanest toilets.
Recycling top notch.
Fire pits with starter kit as well.
Friendly relaxed site, the best.
See you next year!!
Sarah and family.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked The duration of our visit from start to finish was perfect. Despite windy weather and rain at times we had a wonderful time. Enjoyed being able to have BBQs and use our fire pit. The showers and toilets were constantly clean and fresh. Likewise the washing up area was perfectly simple with all the little touches provided by the hosts.

We spent our time down at the beautiful sandy beached cove just 5 mins walk away. The local pub/cafe were very friendly with music in the evenings. On the rainy days we set off to discover other areas of Pembrokeshire, including St David’s which is a must see for all.

Local supermarkets if needed are just a 15mins drive. A truly wonderful campsite and area and would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning!

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Facilities were clean at all times and easy to find. The view was second to none and on a clear night the amount of stars in the sky was phenomenal! Short walk with a direct footpath down to the beach which is beautiful and has a lovely pub just behind it. Short drive from other beaches near by as well.

Disliked Only real issue (which is entirely out of the campsites hands) was that you get absolutely no signal up there at all. But for us this was perfect as it allowed us and the kids to switch off our devices and enjoy ourselves!

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Lovely back-to-basics campsite with a fantastic view of the bay.
3 toilets and 2 showers - all kept very clean and plenty of loo roll.
Dish washing sinks x2 with cloth and washing up liquid supplied.
Friendly owners, always willing to help.

Disliked Nothing about the campsite, just the awful wind we had both nights. Being on top of a hill, it's very exposed.

Local attractions

Surfers (or bodyboarders, for those newer to the waves) will want to capture the swell at Newgale beach (five minutes’ drive). Elsewhere, Little Haven (15 minutes) is a prime spot to reel in fish and Solva (15 minutes) has another small harbour with sailboats to go out to sea and a woollen mill and galleries on land. Marloes (25 minutes) is best known for its birdlife (bring the binoculars along) and its long stretch of sand is a magnet for watersports fans. Go puffin spotting on a boat trip around Skomer Island (35 minutes' drive and 10 minutes' ferry) or let the animals find you at Manor Wildlife Park’s walk-through zoo (40 minutes). For day trips, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (35 minutes) is within reach, with zoo animals and softer rides for little kids. Alternatively maybe you might want to tumble into prehistoric times on the rides at Prehistoric Dinosaur Park (40 minutes).
