What customers say

This family-friendly campsite offers spacious, level pitches and a relaxed atmosphere. Visitors praise the exceptionally clean toilet and shower facilities, extensive on-site activities including a play area, games room and football pitch, and the delight of friendly farm animals. The owners are consistently described as welcoming and helpful. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few guests noted the absence of hot water for washing dishes and expressed a desire for additional toilet and shower facilities. The owners acknowledge feedback regarding hot water for washing up and are working to address it.

Chicken Coop bell tent (six person)

Liked We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kerrie and Dave were great hosts and so were their children! Our 3 kiddos enjoyed the park, football, pool table and the animals. So much space to run around. Facilities were clean and tidy. Can't wait to come and stay again.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked An absolute gem of a find, so much so we stayed an extra 3 nights. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, large flat pitches and the fire pit hire is a lovely touch. The toilets and showers are the cleanest I’ve seen for a long time. We don’t have young children but if you do there’s everything there for them and they won’t get bored. Will definitely be back next time we are down that way. Kerrie was lovely and helpful and her 2 Labs are ❤️❤️

Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked Lovely relaxed campsite, park on any pitch that is free when you arrive. Pitches are a good size and level and the grass on the pitches is well mowed. Showers and Toilets are clean an hot. Pool table, table football and ping pong in a covered area are a nice free facility along with the outdoor children's play area and football pitch.

Disliked Long walk from non electric pitches to the facilities.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked A beautiful place. Lovely big pitches. The children loved the play area and running through the paths.
A lovely shop with very good choice of essential ice creams was very much appreciated.
A really nice place.
Just please can you signpost the toilets a little better as the teenagers couldn’t find them first time.

Electric grass and gravel motorhome pitch

Liked Really lovely campsite. The staff couldn’t be kinder or more helpful. Lovely big pitches.
The animals were a hit with the kids, particularly the cats that wander round and make themselves at home.
Will definitely be back to camp again.

Duck House / Peacocks Rest bell tent (four person)

Liked Lovely clean site, very friendly, good fridge space. Animals are very well looked after and a delightful touch to the stay. Sweet little shop which will only expand with time I’m sure. We stayed in one of the tent onsite. Mattress was provided which was unexpected, very comfortable and warm.
I would have liked hot water to wash up with however I do know this is in the process of being set up. Overall it was just lovely and the family who run the site and so welcoming.

Local attractions

Having Wild Lakes Wales just up the road is a great thing, but that’s far from the only option around here for active types. There’s also plenty to choose from at Heatherton World of Activities (15 minutes’ drive), including ziplining, archery and zorbing, or you can go pony trekking in the Preseli Hills (40 minutes). If the weather’s not so good, get some speed up with the indoor karting at West Wales Karting (20 minutes) or leap about at Hangar 5 trampoline park (25 minutes). For gentler family-friendly days out, look to places like Clerkenhill Adventure Farm & Frizbee Golf Course (10 minutes), Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (10 minutes) or The Dinosaur Park Tenby (15 minutes), all with plenty of fun for the youngsters. Alternatively, get a heritage fix at Carew Castle (10 minutes) or Pembroke Castle (20 minutes). And of course some time at the coast has to be on the cards, whether you fancy a long walk on the Wales Coast Path or a day at the beach – Saundersfoot (15 minutes) and Tenby both have fabulous sandy beaches, or you could try wilder spots like Manorbier (25 minutes) and Barafundle Bay (half an hour).
