Gold-sand coves, limestone stacks and fishing harbours… get your Pembrokeshire fix at Crane Cross Camping Park. Based just 35 minutes’ walk from Saundersfoot, where the sandy cove has shallow bathing water, this small family-run site has a splendid location alright. Tenby, a popular Pembrokeshire seaside town with a castle, 13th-century walls and a harbour where boats depart to Caldey Island, is only five minutes’ drive away too. Dog-friendly? Indeed. Barbecues welcome? That too.Handy facilities? Of course. There’s a fridge and freezer in case you want to store fresh eats from the farm shop five minutes’ walk away. Other on-site facilities are handy and include ladies and gents’ toilets, handwashing basins, unisex showers, shaver points, washing-up facilities, an ironing board and hot and cold water. For an additional cost, there’s also a washing machine, dryer and payphone available. For the kids, meanwhile, there's a sand play area where they can dig, explore and make friends. The site only accepts families and couples, which keeps things nice and peaceful. Dogs are welcome too as long as they're kept on leads… It's a cracking location for walks for canines (or humans), with the countryside and coast so easily accessible.

Liked A well managed site with good facilities that are spotlessly clean. Good sized pitches and if chosen correctly, no doubt very quiet and peaceful.

Disliked Chose the field to the left of the entrance and pitched by the hedge by the road. The noise from the vehicles emptying at the recycle centre began at 5.30am. This would not be a problem had I pitched elsewhere.

Liked Very helpful staff, knowledgable about the Ironman road closures, quite a good location for Ironman weekend as its on the only permenantly open route in and out of Tenby, walking distance to Saundersfoot and close to New Hedges.

Good facilities, free hot showers, a large communal fridge and freezer.

Liked Friendly and helpful owner who worked very hard to keep every where clean

There’s a farm shop 5 min walk up the road

Disliked Showers and toilets were outdated

Apart from the farm shop it didn’t feel too safe walking up the main road to Tenby as no pavements. The walk into saundersfoot wasn’t too bad as there was a lane you could walk down rather than being on the main road.

Very hilly and the slog back up is a leg burner

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.
There is no reception at this site. Please check in at the Please sign visitor book in grey Portakabin and pitch up. instead.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
