What customers say
This is a peaceful, back-to-basics campsite with a relaxed vibe, highly praised for its quiet location, beautiful views, and spacious pitches. Facilities, including toilets and showers, are frequently described as clean and well-maintained. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful hosts, the option to hire fire pits, and the proximity to beaches and the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Some minor concerns were raised regarding timed showers, occasional unkempt areas, and the need for more frequent site checks by staff, though recent upgrades have been noted.

Liked Perfect location for a quick stop over.
Disliked Automatic email stated we could have a fire pit - but when phoned up to reserve one, was told they told us they had stopped this for a couple of years.

From the manager: Hi Guys,
Thank you for your kind and very generous review considering the weather you experienced when you stayed! Apologies regarding the fire pits, unfortunately due to a change in personal circumstances, I have had to return to work full time, and as the firepits require quite a bit of shuffling around, I made the decision not to hire them this year. I'm glad we were able to source a BBQ for you to use on this occasion, but completely appreciate that you chose not to go ahead with that hire in the midst of Storm Dave!
Its just me and the kids now, but we don't like to disappoint our campers, so in light of your comments we are reconsidering our decision, and going to try to come up with a system in which the firepits are collected and returned to reception, to allow us to continue with the fire pit hires.
Thanks for the feedback

Disliked First time we have left a site with out stopping in 10 yrs. The whole place looked unkempt. Their was rubbish blowing around the site in the wind .rubbish are bins left open no protection from the wind.the lady at reception ok but did not show us anything , asked where the showers told just around end of building. no signs on anything never told us where water was. or anything.A long way from anywhere Not amused so just left. wish I had taken photographs.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Not too far from Solva. Facilities were clean enough.
Disliked No staff checking on the site. We booked 3 nights but only stayed one as there was a group set up next to us letting their dog run around off lead. They were very intimidating and loud. Kids were playing football which had hit our van. We felt unsafe as there was clearly no one checking on the site and no one in the office when we tried to find someone. After emailing the owner, she did ring me back a few days later but we had already left to find another campsite. She said that there was a sign in the toilet block saying that there were staff staying on pitch no. 12 and that we could have spoken to them. Unfortunately, we didn’t see this sign. If the staff were staying on the campsite then they should have seen what was going on and reminded the guests of the campsite rules. We felt very uncomfortable there and ended up paying for another campsite and loosing our money on this one.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Site was very quiet and very relaxed vibe, loved that we had hook up included, lovely that the horses are right in the next field, you could use BBQs and fire pits with ease, the toilets and showers were good and clean, grass was all cut back. Really enjoyed our stay no complaints.
Disliked Nothing to do with the campsite as that was excellent but it was quite secluded, we took our bikes and was around a 15 minute cycle to Solva, or to go further you would need a car. No local pub etc in walking distance
