What customers say
This secluded campsite offers a unique "nearly wild" camping experience with private woodland glades. Guests praise the well-spaced, private pitches featuring sheltered areas, hot showers with complimentary toiletries, and compost toilets that do not smell. Ample free firewood for fire pits and a pizza oven contribute to a relaxing atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring surrounding countryside and beaches, with a convenient walking path to town. While some minor issues like wet pitch ground and wear on covered areas were noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests eager to return and enthusiastically recommend the site.

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (private bathroom amenities)
Liked A quiet environment, perfectly arranged and well-adapted for camping. There was no smell from the toilet, which I was a little worried about before booking.
The shower has warm water, and even shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are provided.
Upon arrival, everything is clearly marked, including which campsite is assigned.
There is a convenient walking path to the town.
Highly recommended, and I hope to return more than once!

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (private bathroom amenities)
Liked Beautiful secluded pitches with “ensuite” facilities. We had a stunning weekend on the Pembrokeshire coastal paths and the campsite was truly magical. We booked this last minute because all the holiday houses were booked out and we came back 1000x more relaxed and regulated than any house could have left us. Would happily return and enthusiastically recommend to anyone who loves dreamy locations…

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (private bathroom amenities)
Liked A totally different camping experience. Your own little woodland glade, toilet and shower. The shower was awesome for an off grid experience, nice and hot! The endless supply of wood for the firepit meant we spent all our evenings sat out next to the fire, so very relaxing - we even lit the odd morning fire while reading our books. Graham was a friendly owner, on hand if you needed help - he gave me a little training on how to use the pizza oven, which was a great evening meal option.
The location made visiting the surrounding fantastic countryside and beaches very easy and I would visit this part of Wales again as there is so much to do.

Great place, remote, fire-pit, private facilities, I’m going back.
Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (private bathroom amenities)
Liked A lovely remote secluded campsite, the pitches are excellently spaced, individual, self contained and quiet. You don’t feel overlooked and could just be you in a forest.
Your personal facilities are excellent, compost toilet and shower are great. The toilet doesn’t smell. The shower is hot. The covered area has a fire pit and a pub garden bench. There is plentiful free fire wood. There is a communal area for washing up and another for socialising. There is a pizza oven and fire pit here too. There is a large carpark at end of long driveway from main road. Cars stay parked here. But you can drive car to pitch site to unpack and pack up.
I stayed for a week. There’s loads to do locally and further away.
Fishguard is a five minute drive, with a large CoOp, the town doesn’t have a wide choice of restaurants, but it’s small town.
The campsite is very much as described by the website. It’s a lovely place to stay.
Disliked The pitch site ground was very very wet. I had small tent so was able to find dry hard area. This could be problematic if you had big tent or tents. Maybe some drainage work required.
The “grill” was bent by heat, not really usable, needs replacing or removing.
The covered area tarp, is showing signs of wear and tear, with a few holes, which allows water through, not major problem, but be aware.
The communal area, was great, but I guess the community didn’t treat with respect, as parents allowed children to leave it scattered with the games equipment provided and crush all the table tennis balls. Which meant there were no balls to play. This is on guests rather than owners. But it did feel a little unloved, and maybe added to disrespect from guests.
The rubbish bin in the carpark was overflowing, needed emptying.
