Electric grass motorhome pitch

Liked: Well looked after site, clean facilities, lovely countryside view, sheep in field next door

Disliked: Showers had no storage, just one hook, no shelves or stools or anything to put clothes, bag etc on. One cubicle with no curtain so difficult to keep everything dry.

Electric grass motorhome pitch

Liked: Parked on an end grass pitch so plenty of privacy, good facilities. Out of season so not very busy which suited us just fine!

Disliked: On pitchup it says to contact them if you’re going to arrive later than 5pm, we tried to ring but no answer. On arrival there was a note at reception to say all new arrivals find their own pitch and just park up. We have absolutely no problems with not seeing/speaking to anyone on arrival, but a text sent to tell us this information the day before or on booking would be very useful to save confusion.

Electric grass motorhome pitch

Liked: Superb hard standing pitches, with water at each pitch. Grass surround so an awning would be no problem.
Lovely secure dog walking area, and a play area for children. The Landscaping was beautiful and the site was very well kept. Friendly owner. Facilities were very clean. Very close to Fishguard!
Would Definitely stay again in the future.

Local attractions

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a smashing place for spectacular scenery: head here for hikes or just sit and take in the views. Wildlife is all around too, so look out for cormorants diving into the sea, squawking gulls following the many sailing boats, and porpoises and dolphins in the waters below the cliffs. Grey seal pups will usually be around from September to December. For walks, follow the Pembrokeshire Coast Path on its stretch from Fishguard to Newport (have some time in Fishguard first) or follow the coast around Strumble Head, also part of the coast path and among the most remote landscape in Pembrokeshire. Spectacular beach scenery and more wildlife watching are close to hand at the likes of Newport, Cwm Yr Eglwys, Pwllgwaleod Beach, while Whitesands and Newgale Beach are the spots for surfing. Or take the kids to Folly Farm or to Oakwood Theme Park, less than an hour away, or to see the tiny city of St Davids and its cathedral. Finally, anyone visiting the Cwm Gwaun area can't tick it off their travel list without dropping in to the Dyffryn Arms or Bessie's, run by generations of the same family since 1845. You might then also fancy a trip to Bluestone Brewery in the Preseli Hills…
