What customers say

This small, intimate campsite offers a peaceful and natural escape in a wooded valley. Reviewers praised the friendly and helpful owners, as well as the welcoming atmosphere and on-site dog. Facilities include eco-toilets, a hot shower, and a communal kitchen with a firepit area. Complimentary firewood was a significant bonus, allowing guests to enjoy evening campfires. The village with shops and a pub is within walking distance. Some noted the site is slightly tricky to access, but felt it was worth the journey.

Liked Absolutely lovely campsite!
Small and quite really friendly owners and the dog who came to welcome us 😀
Eco toilets and shower available and also a spot to charge your phone if needed 😀
Free wood for campfires a massive bonus!

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch

Liked The campsite was very peaceful and had a very welcoming host who showed us around. There was plenty of wooded space between pitches that gave everyone privacy, there was also a communal outdoor kitchen and firepit area.

We made good use of the free firewood to enjoy a late evening campfire under the stars, the eco toilets were clean and had more than enough toilet paper and sawdust.

Would happily go again :)

Non-electric grass campervan pitch

Liked Fab little hidden gem of a campsite! Caroline and Kit (and Spock) were really friendly and helpful, our dog thoroughly enjoyed running around with Spock (their young spaniel). Small and intimate, vans will benefit from chocs. Good simple amenities (compost toilets and a hot shower), everything you need with the village a short walk away. Recommend the fish and chip shop.

Non-electric grass campervan pitch

Liked We had the place to ourselves, a nice surprise, but what a beautiful spot this is. The campervan field was lovely, sheltered and cosy. The camping field looked beautiful, and Kit was a great and welcoming host who showed us around. We were made to feel very welcome very quickly. The shower was great, and in the camping kitchen there's everything you'd need in the way of gear if you've forgotten anything. All in all, you can tell that Caroline and Kit have put a lot of love into this place, and we felt very lucky to be able to enjoy this amazing little corner of the world.
