Curly non-electric grass tent pitch (private bathroom amenities)
Liked: Private pitch with own kitchen and toilet and shower. Clean, firepit provided, owner comes around with wood. Hot water, shared fridge/freezer and charging points. Friendly owners, paths lit up at night. It was actually the best site we have been in our few years of camping.
Disliked: Could do with more than one shelf of fridge space but we fit so not really a fault as at least there is a fridge!

Jill non-electric grass motorhome pitch (private bathroom amenities)
Liked: Such a pretty little site with so many brilliant features. Individual toilets, showers and fire pit. Your own little kitchen space alongside bigger communal spaces and a little terrace for the last of the sun. Compost toilets are such a good idea and much nicer than a portaloo. Very friendly owners who come and say hello and check everything is to your linking.
Disliked: Nothing really

Blue Bella non-electric grass tent or campervan pitch (private bathroom amenities, secluded, woodland)
Liked: Pontypool
We have just had a three night stay at Willow Acres on the Blue Bella pitch. Absolutely loved the site - Blue Bella is a secluded, premium pitch and you really feel completely immersed in the Welsh Countryside and wildlife. The facilities on site are excellent - compost loo, hot shower and kitchen facilities including a gas hob with four burners. We had everything we needed and could have stayed for longer very comfortably.
John and Simon were excellent hosts. Simon called me on the morning of arrival to ensure all was well. John met us on arrival and showed us to our pitch. We managed to get ourselves locked out of our van and John came to our rescue lending us his phone to call The AA. Couldn’t do enough to help which we really appreciated.
The local area is stunning. Common land is available just a short walk up the hill where you are treated to wonderful views and vistas. There are plenty of activities nearby and places to visit.
We love this area of Wales and Willow Acres is a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be back again!
