Liked: We really don’t know where to start, the location is absolutely stunning so peaceful and views down through the valley. The pod was spotless and included everything you need beds are very comfortable. Shower is excellent. We really have had the most relaxed couple of days with plenty to do in the surrounding area. Kathryn and Phil are so friendly and even invited us to the lambing shed to see the new born lambs which our 9 year old absolutely loved.
All we can say is thank you so much Kathryn and Phil for making our stay so memorable we have rebooked for May

Willow camping pod

Liked: It was a beautiful pod, that was done to the most gorgeous spec. The landscape was so quiet and gorgeous to be amongst. The kids loved it and felt free, but safe.

The host was amazingly accommodating and let us know where all the children local activities were, left milk and some supplies for us and wood to burn on the stove, free of charge.

Truly felt such a luxury glamping experience and 10/10 all round.

Disliked: That we had to come home :-)

Liked: The pod was comfortable and well laid out. The hostess welcoming with thoughtful details. The location was secluded, idyllic, and bucolic, set in a valley it was peaceful and surrounded by nature. It was also well located for local tourism activities. A perfect stay and we would definitely return.

Liked: Beautiful pod and scenic views. We stayed for 2 nights with our 14,12 and 1 year old and it was the most peaceful and relaxing stay we have had somewhere. The Pod itself was immaculate and had everything we needed and more!! The owner had thought of literally everything. We were even left some fire wood and marshmallows to toast on the fire pit.

There was tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener and even a pint of milk in the fridge so even if you didn’t bring anything with you, you could have a nice cuppa upon arrival.

The grounds were beautiful, there was a little field by the pods with a football and a goal post where we played a bit of football with the kids, we went for walks around the top fields overlooking the Pods to do a little exploring and we even stargazed at night with the binoculars that were in the pod. Apart from making a trip into the local town for essentials, we didn’t leave the pod as we wanted to enjoy every minute of our little getaway.

Also, the weather was beautiful for the 2 day’s we were there so that made our stay even better. The beds were very comfy, the pod was spacious, clean, tidy and lovely and warm at night. We were sad to leave but we are already planning another stay very soon and have recommended the pod’s to family and friends already!!

Disliked: Nothing!! There was nothing to dislike, everything was perfect!!

Willow camping pod

Liked: Stunning location, remote and quiet. The Pod was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. We took our dog and he settled well. There were toys and a safe place for the children to play. Loved the welcome treats and marshmallows!
Can’t wait to go back for another stay!

See how that border was once fiercely fought over at defence castles like Goodrich Castle on the English side or head to Raglan Castle (both 15 minutes’ drive), firmly back in Wales. Follow that same border along Offa’s Dyke Path (five minutes) or hit the walks and cycling routes taking in the circular sculpture trail in the Forest of Dean (20 minutes). Ramp up your sporty adventures with kayaking along the River Wye (five minutes), try a tandem paragliding flight from Blorenge (half an hour), go whitewater rafting at Symonds Yat (15 minutes) or hang around on treetop ropes courses at Go Ape Mallards Pike (half an hour). When you’ve had enough of leaping around in the fresh air, take yourselves off to Monmouth (five minutes’ drive). Sitting at the confluence of the Wye and Monnow rivers, historic sites include a couple of landmark bridges straddling the waters, the castle and neighbouring Regimental Museum. No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
The site will send you further check-in information 5 day(s) before your arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 5 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
The site only allows dogs up to 15kg.
