Looking for luxurious contemporary lodges? You’ve come to the right place.

The Lake House is an absolutely stunning lodge that sleeps 4. With a combination of SuperKing double beds or singles, as the beds are zip beds, you can have 2 doubles, 4 singles or 1 double and 2 singles. The Lake House is a single-story building that offers two large bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), a large open-plan living/dining space, and a modern kitchen.

The full length of the front of the building opens onto the decking overlooking the lake, with double doors to the living area and both bedrooms meaning that you can lie in bed, sit on the sofa or dine at the table and watch the water rippling on the lake and the breeze blowing in the trees.

The Lake House is fully equipped with all modern amenities. In the lounge, there is a log burner, a large sofa bed and other chairs, a flat screen TV and DVD player, and there is WiFi access (not available on the glamping site) as well as a built-in USB charging point. We also provide a wide range of board games and toys. The kitchen has all the modern appliances and utensils you would expect, and there is a dining table and seating.

The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower, and there is a main bathroom with full size bath as well.

Outside, there is a covered veranda and a two-level spacious decking overlooking the lake with outdoor furniture that includes a table, loungers, plenty of seating and a BBQ grill.

No detail has been overlooked in this luxurious holiday home. We have carefully designed this house with you in mind so that your holiday is as relaxing, easy and trouble free as possible.

• Inside, you will find everything you expect from a modern house, all located on a single storey. This includes large comfortable Super king and twin beds with luxurious bed linen, modern bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious open-plan living space and dining area.

• Outside, a covered veranda with traditional rustic appeal runs the full length of the building leads onto a huge double deck, which allows for sunbathing, BBQs, garden furniture and stargazing. The views are simply breathtaking, surrounded by our 80 acres of woodland and meadow and that serene lake next to it.

Whether you’re looking for a restful break, a family holiday or to explore this stunning region we hope that The Lake House will be your chosen home away from home.
