This well-maintained, peaceful rural site offers friendly hosts and excellent, immaculately clean toilet and shower facilities, often described as outstanding. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, beautiful countryside views, and the on-site pub. Pitches are generally spacious and level, with full services. Suberb setting for a quiet stay.
Fully-serviced hardstanding pitch
Liked This was our first outing in our new campervan and we couldn't have picked a nicer place. A very friendly family run business, on a working Sheep farm, in a peaceful and secluded setting with a great pub on site. Dale and his sister were very welcoming and we will definitely be back. We even got treated to a beautiful full moon on our second night....however, I can't finish my review without complementing whoever looks after the shower/toilet block, it was exceptional
Disliked Absolutely nothing!

Liked This is an absolute hidden gem of a site, run by Dale and Nicola who are excellent hosts. With superior shower and washroom facilities it rates highly on our list of sites visited worldwide.
The banter with yourselves and locals in your bar of an evening certainly added to our enjoyment and we’ll be back for a pint soon.

Liked Dale was extremely welcoming and friendly. Gave us a tour of the facilities and took my partner to see his American pickup truck.
The site was very clean and the pitches were spacious and level.
Rural and peaceful.
The pub was very friendly; good beer at great prices.
Toilets were extremely clean and the showers were hot
The road to the site is narrow but easily managed.
Enjoyed our stay. This is a great site if you want peace and tranquility

Liked What a site, we picked this as a second choice as there was no availability in Symonds Yat at the time. Happened to be a godsend just the sort of site we like.
Toilets/shower rooms out of this world compared to any other site we’ve been to.
The owner Dale and his sister Nichola were very friendly and welcoming to us and our dog Elsa.
Fully serviced pitch was fine and stay went with no issues.
Dale made several visits a day to check on guests and would always stop and chat.
There were no weddings on that weekend but we did get to experience a Charity tractor run/rally that stopped at the pub for lunch and a raffle.
There were so many tractors vintage and modern.
Met some lovely people while on our stay.
Thanks again Dale and Nichola

Lovely place to stop for some cycling
Fully-serviced hardstanding pitch
Liked Really nice, quiet site with lovely shower/toilet rooms. I woke to the lovely sound of the young lambs in the field next door.
I spent a couple of days biking from the site - cracking road routes around there

Liked The place has a traditional pub which is beautiful and pleasant, the staff are friendly which make the stay even more enjoyable. The toilets are independent not like a block of showers or toilets like other camp sites. They are clean and beautifully decorated which is a super star for me. It is a farm so the obvios plant and machinery and animals around but beyond that are the parcels with electricity and drinkable water. Although it was a wedding party close to the site, you couldn't hear the noise. Nice attractions near by and the staff are so kind to give you directions and suggest you places to visit. I would have given more stars if they were any available. I will definitely return.

OK for a quiet weekend.. friendly owner. Pitch clean.

Liked Toilets are wonderful . Instructions to get to site good .. follow them as went home abergavenny route and that was awful narrow lanes and very sleep hills. Lovely castle within walking distance. Clean pitch.
managed to get a good signal on my EE SIM and freeview was good so didn't use the o site wifi which was intermittant.
Disliked No signs for the toilets.. signage faint and difficult to read if you arrive late.. no recycling options which is illegal in wales. ..
Pub was closed Friday when we arrived owner was welcoming and explained they would be open on Saturday.

From the manager: I do believe I took your so called recycling to the skip for you !!!
You knew the reasons for pub closure due to me having a broken leg you had plenty of chance to use the pub but you stayed in your caravan & drank your own beer
Some people give me pleasure in coming & some in going !!!
