Liked Beautiful little secluded and very friendly campsite with a stunning view. I did not expect the excellent food they served. Nice pitches for hikers or cyclists with a tent. Facilities are minimalistic, but clean and have everything you need. Very close to the EuroVelo 1. The 'glamping' options seemed also great, did not use them though.
Disliked Something to lean a bicycle against at the pitch would be nice.
Not very comfy to reach with a bike. But maybe my approach over Blackmill and the A4093 wasn't the best one, wouldn't recommend that. You're good once you reach the farm tracks, though.
It's a bit pricey for what it is.

Liked Very kind owners, beautiful home made meals, spectacular views, lovely farm and Bryngarw country park is just down the road 6mins drive or about hour walk through the woodlands

Stargazer bell tent
Liked EVERYTHING! We stayed in the family bell tent. Comfiest beds ever, beautifully decorated, clean, cosy and had extra touches which were lovely like a box of 50 games and comfy bean bags. Definitely going again! The veiws were beautiful, my children loved the alpacas that roamed the path and the owner is an absolute diamond ❤️ checked in on us, went above and beyond when our travel plans became chaotic and really cares about her guests!

Liked Fantastic pop up campsite with everything you need and nothing you don't. Lovely views of the surrounding area. The hosts check in on you in a friendly but not intrusive way and nothing is too much trouble. Suzanne's kitchen / café is a nice bonus and I can highly recommend a bacon butty or two. I'll definitely try more next visit.
You can park on your pitch which saves carrying anything, and there are toilet facilities for gents and ladies which were spotless throughout my stay. The shower was surprisingly capable and instantly hot with the flick of a switch.
There is a phone mast near by and I had extremely fast internet with EE throughout my stay.

Friendly, great facilities, food cooked onsite was excellent (including the cake!). Just all round lovely for small children with animals around too.

Liked The most peaceful campsite we have stayed at. Beautiful views, free roaming animals kept the kids(and adults) entertained, and our host, Suzanne was so lovely. Suzanne’s home cooked food was delicious and she was always there if we needed anything. Huge pitches meant the kids had plenty of space to play next to the tent. 10/10 would recommend!
