Breathe freely in our 100-acre woodland, a short walk from the Merthyr Mawr sand dunes and beach. This season we can offer 100 camping pitches throughout the woodland, including a variety of Glamping options. We have one large seven meter bell tent (sleeps upto 8), two 5meter stargazer bell tents (sleeps 4) and ten 5 metre bell tents which can all be hired additionally. Each are provided fully furnished and include one double bed (or two singles) & bedding. Additional beds would be required for more guests staying. Our facilities include beautiful washrooms on site with plenty of showers and toilets, as well as family changing rooms, a disabled facility and lots of hot water! Adjacent to the washrooms is the Forest Barn, an indoor space which includes a licenced bar & cafe, electricity and wifi and a wood burning stove. There is also a large decked area attached to this with tables and chairs. Outside we have a large communal event space which features picnic tables, an undercover pavillion area for outdoor dining and a large firepit for guests to toast marshmallows around plus a sandpit for children to play in. Hidden away in the woods is our private woodland spa featuring a wood fired Sauna, hottub and cold water options. Guests 16yrs+ can book a private or communal session. Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 2 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Hired accommodation

No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of £50.00 will be charged for unclean units upon departure.
