  • Wooded parkland campsite with access to Chirk Castle
  • Great for walkers
  • Historial sites to explore
Lady Margaret's Park campsite boasts a glamping village in an open grassed area with a range of glamping accommodation, sitting on the border between Cheshire in England and Wrexham in Wales. The campsite is adjacent to the grounds of Chirk Castle, which dates back to the 13th century, and is the last castle from the period still lived in today. The award-winning gardens cover over five acres and there's over 480 acres of estate parkland to explore. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site offers easy access to the Ceiriog Valley and the canals which run through this area. Nearby Chirk Aqueduct is part of Pontcysyllte Aquaduct which spans the Dee Valley and the Llangollen Canal World Heritage site which stretches from Chirk to the Horseshoe Falls in Llangollen. The town of Chirk is within walking distance, and has a choice of cafes, restaurants and small shops.
