  • Small, peaceful central Anglesey touring site for CAMC members only
  • Coast path, beaches and Parys Mountain within a 15-minute drive
  • Touring pitches at a working farm with fishing lake on site
The serene landscapes of central Anglesey make a wonderful backdrop for Cae Bugail Certificated Location – and the setting on a working farm means you’ll be in for a very peaceful rural escape when you stay here. This small-scale touring site is part of a working farm a mile from the village of Llannerch-y-medd, and the handful of pitches are reserved for members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club only. Each pitch is fully serviced and has plenty of space to put up an awning and get your camping chairs out. Shared facilities include a chemical disposal point, showers and toilets. Being on a farm, you’ll be sharing the property with the resident sheep and cattle as well as passing wildlife like red squirrels and pheasants. There’s also a well-stocked private fishing lake filled with roach and rudd – just the spot for a leisurely afternoon of angling. Dogs are welcome at this site, and can have a good run about at the off-lead paddock or accompany you on the woodland walk. There are also plenty of walks nearby, including strolls along the Anglesey coast path or through the colourful landscapes of Parys Mountain. To help you fuel up for such endeavours, the village has a well-stocked shop, a pub, a café and a fish and chip shop.

Route directions

For the best route, use Junction 6 of the A55 and follow signs for Llangefni Industrial Estate, then the B5111. ❗️The postcode covers a large strip, therefore you’ll need to follow my instructions once you have left the village. Our postcode is LL718DF, the sat nav will take you through the village of Llannerchymedd towards Amlwch on the B5111. After less than half a mile out of the village, you will have passed a white house and a derelict building on your right. Turn up the next right (there will be a lodge at the bottom of the drive), “Llwydiarth Fawr”. The CAMC sign is up as well. Once you reach the top, turn down to the left, pass our bungalow and follow the lane to enter the site. Hope this helps and have a safe journey.
