Liked: Hosts were very helpful & friendly, site is flat with hedges all round helping to shelter from any wind, toilets & showers clean, small wash up area, no electric hook up but that suited me as like to get away from it all, would definitely return

Liked: Very well kept camping field. Set a little way from the local village which has a well stocked shop. There are two toilets and two showers in a block and an outdoor washing up area. All were immaculate and cleaned on a regular basis. There is also a chemical toilet cleaning area. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The site has easy access for most sized vehicles.

Liked: We couldn't have received a warmer welcome from Norma to her lovely campsite. And it couldn't have been any better too. Always a warm shower when you wanted one and it wasn't overcrowded at all. We went for one drink at the local pub but found it full of drunken youths. That didn't matter, we built great campfires and enjoyed cooking our own food on every night after. Would recommend this site to couples, singles and families. Anyone would be happy here.

Liked: Flat sheltered field site with high hedges Not too big/busy Allows fires and dogs Modern, clean toilet and shower facilities

Disliked: No hot water for washing up

Liked: How much space the kids had to play. The showers were so nice and hot and clean too. Staff were friendly.

Disliked: No hot water for washing dishes which we worked our way around

Liked: Beautiful little campsite, super friendly hosts. Showers and toilets were clean at all times. The field was very soft due to all the rain but the owners were very helpful. Bonus you can have a campfire too!

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

Extras

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Pitches

Minimum spacing of 6 metres between pitches.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
Open fires are prohibited.
Please do not touch or feed the animals.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
