What customers say
This site is praised for its superb, quiet location with stunning coastal and estuary views, offering easy access to beaches and the coastal path. Guests appreciate the friendly and accommodating owner, spacious pitches, and the adult-only environment. While facilities are described as basic but clean, some visitors found them dated, distant, and insufficient, with concerns regarding value for money due to the price and lack of electric hook-ups. Access can be challenging, particularly in poor weather.

Liked We were the only users of the site so very quiet and no queues for toilet & shower.
Disliked Very very basic toilet block. Shower block a distance away over the road. Everything looked a bit tired and unkempt.

Non-electric grass trailer tent or tent pitch
Liked Really fantastic location. We loved the little creek just down the lane and watched the sunset from the rocks. Just stunning. We also loved the little hidden path that revealed itself at low tide. When we arrived the reception was closed but a quick phone call and we were greeted by the friendly owner.
Lots of space and freedom to camp where we fancied.
Disliked The facilities are basic, but adequate and clean. We did try to use the shower on the Sunday morning around 8.15 but it was closed. I’m sure that another quick call would have sorted it out straight away but with the shower being so far from my tent and not having my phone on me it felt easier not to bother. I’d recommend taking a phone down just in case in future!

Liked A well kept site in a really quiet but handy location. The little beach few minutes walk away was a great place to reconnect with nature.
Disliked The RAF practicing some low level flying overhead while I was trying to have an afternoon nap.

Excellent quiet site with level pitches and easy access to nature
Non-electric grass trailer tent or tent pitch
Liked We liked the remote-ness of the site. Very simple facilities but everything you needed (toilet, shower, washing up facilities, plenty of hot water!). Very quiet given it was an adult-only site which we appreciated having no children ourselves. Very close to a private beach (2min walk) and beautiful sunset views. Also not far from some other coastal attractions, beaches, and walks. Would highly recommend!

Clean facilities and welcome friendly
Non-electric grass trailer tent or tent pitch
Liked Liked this site for going wild and having the estuary on your doorstep.
Basic toilets and kitchen area.
Disliked Shower block a bit further away from site.
As the winds were 30mph and gusts at 45mph there were no areas that were sheltered from the winds.

Liked Host was really accommodating, facilities were kept clean and tidy, the site was very well maintained and you got the choice of whatever pitch you wanted. The site was also not over crowded at any point.
