  • Small country park with Eryri views 10 minutes’ drive from Rhosneigr
  • Several beaches, riding, tennis and golf all within 15 minutes’ drive
  • Fully serviced pitches 10 minutes’ drive from pubs and restaurants
Spectacular views south over Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and other peaks in Eryri National Park from fully serviced pitches. A spacious farm site, and handily only 10 minutes’ drive off the main A5 on the Isle of Anglesey. What’s not to love about Ty’n Buarth Camping? Found in the south-west of the island, this peaceful spot with lots of greenery about the place is surrounded by countryside and farmland. With Eryri in your sights looking south, turn northwards and you’ll spot cruise ships and the Irish ferries coming into harbour at Holyhead, 20 minutes’ drive away (handy if you fancy a day trip to Northern Ireland). Both kid- and dog-friendly, Ty’n Buarth is a small, welcoming site with a fair list of amenities. For starters, all pitches have drainage and water connections as well as electric hook-ups, while the pristine modern shower block has dedicated areas for men and women, plus a separate facility for disabled guests. The site has a safe place for children to play (there are organised sports during high season too), as well as plenty of walking options for your four-legged chums. Out and about, you will unearth pubs and restaurants in Rhosneigr (10 minutes’ drive), a basics shop in Gwalchmai (five minutes), and supermarkets in Holyhead.

What customers say

This quiet, well-maintained site offers spacious, fully serviced pitches with stunning countryside views. Facilities, including toilets and showers, are consistently praised as clean, tidy, and well-equipped, with hot water. Owners are frequently described as friendly and welcoming. While some visitors noted a lack of Wi-Fi, an Elsan point, and external washing-up facilities, recent comments indicate the addition of an Elsan point. The site's location is convenient for exploring the island, though some found the entrance signage and approach roads a little challenging.

Liked We’ve just spent a lovely week at this beautiful little site as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children), and we really enjoyed our stay.

The toilet and shower facilities were clean, tidy and well looked after. We particularly loved the peaceful setting and the beautiful views — there was nothing better than sitting back and watching the cows!

We also enjoyed our daily visits from Mali, the friendly collie who wanders around the site. She was so lovely and always happy to come over for some attention.

It’s a lovely, peaceful little site in a beautiful setting, and we would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ❤️

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked The warm welcome, the view, situation, the facilities. Great for visiting Trac Mon which was why we were there.

Disliked Not really a dislike but would have liked mirrors over the sinks (especially for men to have a shave) and a plastic chair in the shower to put your stuff on as my shoes and toiletries bag got wet even though they were by the door.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your 9/10 review. Much appreciated. Not too sure about the mention of mirrors as there are mirrors above each sink. Just to clarify - Do you mean magnified shaving mirror?
Thanks
Rhian

Local attractions

Sporty types can play tennis, go horse riding, play golf with Eryri in the background, and try their hand at kitesurfing, kayaking, windsurfing or wing foiling off sandy Traeth Crigyll beach at Rhosneigr – where you can hire gear and take lessons – all within 15 minutes’ drive of the site. When it’s scenic walks you’re craving, the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path is also 15 minutes’ drive, and if you have canine chums with you, you can exercise them on dog-friendly Traeth Mawr beach (again 15 minutes). You can be in Eryri National Park for hiking, climbing and mountain biking within half an hour by car, and when you need to relieve any sports-related aches, get yourselves down to Sawna Bach - The Scenic Sauna (10 minutes’ drive), where you can relax in the open air with panoramas across to Eryri. For a change of pace, discover Anglesey’s ancient heritage; Bodfeddan standing stone (five minutes’ drive) features a rare Latin inscription, while the spectacular neolithic burial mound at coastal Barclodiad y Gawres (10 minutes) has been extensively restored. Bodowyr Burial Chamber (25 minutes) is a rare passage grave more often found in Ireland.
