What customers say
This campsite is highly praised for its stunning sea views and exceptional location, offering direct access to the coastal path and a short walk to Moelfre village amenities. Visitors appreciate the site's simplicity, cleanliness (especially the portaloos), and peaceful atmosphere. While facilities are basic, many find them adequate for short stays and highlight the excellent value. Some guests noted occasional noise issues and a preference for showers, though this did not detract from their overall positive experiences.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The location and views are fantastic — just a short stroll into the heart of Moelfre and only a 5-minute drive to Lligwy Beach, which in my opinion is the best beach for swimming.
The site itself is a simple pop-up, perfect for a relaxed 1–2 night stay in smaller tents. While the pitches aren’t huge, they’re well spaced from the next row. The ground is a little uneven in places, but this is more than made up for by the great value — especially compared to many other campsites on the island charging £50–£60 a night.
Disliked Nothing really - its a good site for the price.

Liked The location was fabulous
The village was super cute
Disliked The rules on your parking pitch need to be explained more clearly..
Somebody to actually meet you on your arrival time to explain the do's and don't and where you can park your car..
Getting a txt the morning after to say we hadn't parked in the correct way was very annoying, didn't come and check at the evening but did in the morning, by this point we were in benllech after walking down the coastal path..
All ok taking our bookings tho

Liked Perfect location ! This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this pop up site and loved it! The view is the best 👌you could sit and stare for hours watching the boats, kayaks, paddleboarders and the fishermen on the rocks in the distance . The beach is steps away and the village with ice cream shop, pub, cafe and beach is a 2min walk. It is on the coastal path so you can take off on foot so easily.
It's basic, with just portable loos (kept very clean) and cold water taps ...it is 'proper camping' and perfect for just a couple of nights. We will definitely be back .

Lovely site, but noisy this year and no reply from staff.

Liked My girlfriend and I love this campsite for its simplicity. The beautiful views are a big part of what keeps us coming back. We never get tired of waking up to the stunning view of Moelfre Bay. The toilets are also always very clean, which we really appreciate.
Disliked We have been coming to this campsite for many years now, and we absolutely love it. However, this year in particular, there was quite a lot of noise around the campsite later in the evening.
I believe it says that quiet time is after 11pm but there were cars running for a long time and people talking very loudly. We could hear them from the other side of the field.
Because of this, we tried to message the people in charge or looking after the site to report the issue but we did not get any replies, which was a little frustrating if I am honest.
Apart from that, we still really enjoy staying here and love the place.
