A well worth a visit camp site.
Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked It wasn’t myself that actually stayed. My step son and boy borrowed my camper for the night. We treated them to a night away together. THEY LOVED IT. Really nice camping site with amazing views they said. They want to return asap.
Disliked They could not get a very good WiFi signal. But that did not stop them having a really good time.

Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked I wanted to escape for a couple of nights wth my dog, a d I really enjoyed it here. Beautiful site, well kept, basic with showers (one hot, one cold), toilets, drunking water fill up point, and washing up area. Stunning views all around, you can see sunrise and sunset. 25min walk to local pub, Church Bay Inn and an extra 10-15min to the beach in Church Bay where there is also a lovely little cafe and a restraunt.
The owners of the site are super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay hear, I will 100% be back. If you book on pitch up take cash to pay balance, or they can do bank transfer however phone signal is not always great.
Disliked Only issue was the water pressure due to a nearby festival going on so toilets did not always flush, and taps sometimes did not work. However the owners were in contact with local water board, and consistently ensuring the toilets were kept clean, ensuring waste washed away down the toilet and that there was water available.

Brilliant wild feeling spot with 180 degree sea views, lots of space.
Non-electric grass and earth tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Beautiful space that feels wild and still has the basics of a loo and sink. Stunning views of the sea and plenty to do nearby for a weekend. Even though it was busy the site is large enough to not feel like you’re too close to other campers. Friendly owners, easy to pay on arrival, around to help if you need them, and even lent people fire pits. Will definitely go back here again. Lovely beaches and cafes near by too - though more of a long walk or drive in hot weather. The site had good mobile signal as well (not that we used it!).
Disliked We used a tent box and found the site windy in summer. Would be less likely to come here on windy days in a tent box as quite exposed to sea breeze in several directions.

Disliked Toilet area quite small for size of campsite, and water pressure was on and off.

Highly recommended
Non-electric grass and earth tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Beautiful views across surrounding countryside to the sea. Very welcoming and friendly owners who did a fantastic job keeping facilities fresh and clean (particularly with influx of weekend campers on the Friday afternoon!). Relaxed stay, with plenty of space - basic facilities but perfectly adequate and well looked after, with a free hot shower!
Disliked Low water pressure was a small nuisance during our stay (some taps stopped working) but expect will be resolved next time we visit 🙂
