What customers say
This is a very clean and peaceful campsite with stunning coastal views, particularly towards South Stack lighthouse. Visitors frequently praise the well-maintained, spacious pitches and the friendly, helpful owner who provides local walk recommendations. While the site offers essential amenities like fresh water and waste disposal, it notably lacks toilet and shower facilities, which is a key point for future visitors to consider. The location is ideal for exploring nearby walks and attractions.

Lovely quiet spot only a short drive from the ferry at Holyhead.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Peaceful and immaculately clean. Pitch was clearly marked with my name so didn't have to wait to find someone to show me. Just a short drive from the ferry port at Holyhead. Only a few metres from the coast path.

Peaceful, relaxing and stunning scenery
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The scenery is breathtaking and the walks around the cliffs are spectacular.
The pitch was level and extremely clean and well kept.
The owners were welcoming and informative regarding the surrounding area.
Disliked What would make this site perfect would be if toilets and showers could be included, but as it’s an area of outstanding beauty we understand this isn’t always possible.
The only issue we had was that we had difficulty accessing the WiFi, but it wasn’t too much of an issue as we enjoyed the surroundings.

From the manager: There are actually 4 pitches that I use for pitch up bookings and one has stunning views towards ireland and the South Stack lighthouse, the other 3 still have great views over open fields with distant seaviews towards Rhoscolyn head with the Snowdonia mountain range and Llyn Peninsular as the backdrop so this is a pretty awesome view too.

Swn Y Mor 1 bedroom microlodge (hot tub)
Liked We were very satisfied with our stay — the place is spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen and a truly beautiful view. It feels wonderfully remote and peaceful, yet it’s still close to Holyhead where you can find everything you need. There are plenty of walking routes nearby, and it’s also dog-friendly, which we really appreciated.
This has become our favourite hideaway, and we’re already planning to return every year.
One small suggestion: adding some garden lights around the hot tub area, like at the other lodge, would make the experience even more special in the evenings.
